Merrell makes great shoes. If you have problems with aching feet, give these a try.

I've worn Merrell Jungle Mocs for years. I wanted a new pair and ordered in late Nov 24. The style was different, with an all elastic sleeve around the top of the foot. They fit ok and been wearing them pretty daily for the past three months. On Friday, I noticed my foot felt like it was slipping. When I got to my office, I realized I lost the front part of my sole. I hobbled around the rest of my day, and when I walked back to the parking garage guess what I saw off the sidewalk? The rubber sole! The glue completely failed. When I got home I wanted to show my wife, so when I was taking off my shoe, the back sole came off. I am SO disappointed and disgusted. I get that some dude in some offshore factory didn't put the right amount of glue on a shoe. But seriously, this is such bad quality control. This stinks. Buy Rockport or Clarks instead... I know I will be from now on. Stay away from these!

I would normally give this shoe 5 out of 5 stars for ALMOST everything because overall it's mostly excellent: -Fits great - this is one of the best fitting shoes I have ever owned available in wide size. -Extremely comfortable. -Looks great. -Very easy to put on and take off. -Feels very durable. -Waterproof**. **HOWEVER, I am only going to give it 3 out of 5 stars because of one reason - traction is VERY poor when the ground or floor is slightly wet, particularly when walking on non-porous surfaces, like smooth asphalt and bathroom tiles. I have only had theses shoes for a few months, and there have already been a number of times I almost slipped / fell while wearing these shoes. I particularly bought this model of Merrell's since it is supposed to be WATERPROOF, and you'd expect to be able to wear these shoes on rainy days, right? If you live in a dry climate, or only expect to wear these on trails, then it's no problem, but if you live in a city, or your driveway / parking lot is paved, and hilly or inclined, then I suggest avoiding these shoes.

I really like this style of Merrell shoes. These fit me perfect. The reason for the 3 stars is that these are slightly used. They have black marks on them and black wear marks at the top where pants strike the shoes. Also there was no wrapping around the shoes that they normally have.
