Works with Android if you use your own cable!
I bought this to record in-person DnD sessions at our table, for use with transcription software with the intent to semi-automate our session summaries. First, the big takeaway (for me anyway)... This microphone WORKS with Android, despite some product details saying that it doesn't. I suspect the specs say it doesn't work with Android becuause the USB cable provided is USB C from the mic to USB A for the recording system... obviously phones don't have USB A plugs, so the provided cable wouldn't work for that setup. However, I used a USB C to C cable and my phone saw the microphone immediately and was able to use it natively. Additionally, it's worth mentioning that I'm using an old spare Pixel XL as the recording device, which has an old battery that barely holds a charge. To solve that, I purchased a USB C splitter that allows use of a wired USB headphone set along with a USB C power cable, which thankfully works fine with this microphone. I tested the mute button with this setup, that worked as advertised as well. Blue light when recording, mute button turned off light. Would be cool if it turned the light red, but we can't have everything, right? Beyond that big reveal, the mic works just fine. It's nice and heavy, which is great to keep it in place in the middle of a table. Other reviews have gone into those details, I'm just happy to report the success with Android despite the product details telling me I was making a mistake! I'm giving this product five stars. If I could rate 4.5 I would, due to the light going dark when muted instead of changing colors, but I don't think that's a big enough deal to dock an entire star.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Mic for Zoom Meetings with Multiple People
If you run Zoom calls with more than one person in the room, this omnidirectional mic is a game-changer. ✅ Crystal-clear audio pickup – I’ve tested this mic with 2–4 people sitting around a desk, and Zoom picked up each voice without issue. No one had to lean in or repeat themselves. ✅ Compact and sleek – It fits perfectly on my desk without cluttering the space. ✅ Great for AI note-taking – I use AI tools to generate meeting notes, and this mic ensures the transcription is accurate, even with multiple speakers. 🎯 Ideal for: Team meetings, interviews, podcasts, or anyone who wants a reliable mic that just works. I’ve tried other mics before, but this one has become my go-to. If you're doing collaborative Zoom meetings, this is a no-brainer.

Small (is a good thing), but Powerful!!
I'm using this 'mic-puck' for a different reason than what is custom. I play online games and use VOIP to communicate with my teammates. Overtime, my ears begin to hurt, because I wear glasses. So, I wanted to get something small and unobtrusive. I didn't want to get a big studio mic, like some other Twitch streamers, but something that could easily fit on my desk. This product is it! Pros: 1. Plug and Play at it's finest. No customization needed and my Win10 box recognized it immediately. 2. No feedback of audio. My mic, as you can see in my pics, is very close to my speakers. With that being said, there is NO feedback. That was a concern for me, but this product surpassed my expectations. 3. Small. This puck is so small and light. It fits perfectly on my desk right in front of my keyboard. I don't have to YELL to have people hear me and in some games, I have to whisper or others will hear me. My colleagues can hear me just fine. 4. Long cable. My desk is pretty big and the mic connects two shelves down. No problems here! Plenty of slack. Cons: 1. None noted, but I will update my review if I encounter any.

It's plug and play and travel Convenience
I have to say this is a pretty snazzy microphone device just plug and play. Compatible with Windows and IOS/not with Android. First of all it eliminates having to hookup headphones with a microphone attached. Which I never keep on my desktop to eliminate clutter. The microphone that comes with the laptop doesn’t always pickup so great unless you are right in front of the laptop. The OSM09 truly frees me up to move about the room without fearing any clarity from a distance with its 360°Omnidirectional Audio Pick Up and/or its USB cable which is 70.8 inches/180 cm long for free movement, not to mention its built-in smart chip can effectively block the background noise and eliminate echo. Its quick mute button in the center of the device makes for an easy pause of recording and its led light ring gives you a visual of being muted or unmuted. I just wish it came with a speaker. It has a nice rubber bottom and heavy feel that keeps the OSM09 from sliding on the desktop or table. Its pocket size is perfect for travel, however it doesn’t come with a travel pouch so it best to keep it in the box when traveling to protect from scratches or buy a separate travel pouch. Overall for the price I think it’s great!

Currently using this product as a microphone in our office's conference room. Voice capture ability is good and the metal body makes it look great! PS. This is only a microphone; doesn't have a speaker attached.

It's not easy to use with Mac because you need to use a converter, but when you have it - no problems. This device sounds better than an internal MacBook mic and is much better to use with several people on a call.

Works very well from a distance of four feet. Would have been better with a five meter cable

This is being used for hybrid meetings with about 10 staff in a boardroom and the sounds works perfectly. Love this mic. Easy to use. Updated review: this mic barely lasted 6 months. I do not recommend.

no impact on using this, it's as same as like without using it.
