Vest Swim Fun Fish 2-4yr Child

Child slips through, and doesn't hold up well in the water.

We bought this at a convenience store while on vacation and it fit my slender 2 year old child (24 lbs). For some reason she took a bite out of the shoulder and it deflated immediately. However, the vest was still usable because there are 3 inflatable panels - one on each front side and one back. So the fact that she popped one panel did not affect the other 2. My child can't swim so I still had my eyes or hands on her the entire time she was in the water, but this vest is helpful when she's just playing in the water. We discarded the vest after our vacation because of the deflated panel, but it served it's purpose for our trip. I would recommend this vest if you're in a bind with the knowledge that you're still going to keep your hands and eyes on your child. This is suitable for a shallow pool but it's definitely not something to take the place of a life jacket out on the open water.

The idea is great, for travel purposes. But the quality is not very good. I bought two, one had a section that defalted every time I filled it up. The air inlet would pop itself back out and open before I could finish inflating the rest of the air compartments, no matter how I tried to close it. So that one was useless before even putting it on a child. The second one inflated fine, but once I put it on my son, within a couple of minutes of him simple running around on the beach (he wasn’t rolling or tugging on the vest), one of the buckles came unstrapped from the vest. I’m thankful he wasn’t in the water when that happened. I tried to put the strap back into the buckle but it was too flimsy to keep from being pulled out with any tiny tug. I wouldn’t trust these to keep my child floating, even for a couple hours worth of swimming.

Product is good and for size its little bit big for1.5 but perfect for 2+

Had received it now and it's a nice vest for my 18 month kid..it's adjustable to fits well. Plastic quality is also good.
