Does it work on leather?

I don't know. I bought it to remove the rear mirror button on my windshield in my car, which I mistakenly applied upside down. It didn't work for me because I was unable to get to the super glue. If this product isn't applied to the glue, it can't break it down. I had to use a cigarette lighter to break the bond.
