TRG the One Easy Dye for Leather and Canvas, Metallic Colors (402 - Antique Silver)

The silver leather dye worked absolutely GREAT! It covered my gold leather sandals with a nice silver coating!!!!

This has always been one of my all time favorite purses. Coach discontinued it years ago. The only signs of wear were the straps; the silver was really starting to turn and literally come off of the handles & the shoulder strap. I had tried shoe polish but could never match it (was originally a pewter color). I finally ordered this dye which was the color I would have preferred Coach used to begin with and I couldn’t be happier. There are some reviews talking about it being too thin. Either they didn’t read the instructions or they don’t know what they’re talking about...it’s thin because it’s dye, not paint or polish. I did have to apply 3 coats and I let each one dry before applying the next. After 5 hours I buffed and it looks great! I can carry it for NYE again!!!

Compré este tinte para darle un aire nuevo a unos zapatos de piel que tenían algunas marcas y desgastes. Me gustó que viene con esponja aplicadora, lo que facilita mucho la tarea y evita ensuciarte las manos. El color plata vieja es bastante bonito y queda bastante natural, aunque no cubre totalmente las zonas más desgastadas si están muy claras o dañadas. Para retoques o cambios sutiles está bien, pero no esperes que deje un acabado profesional o uniforme si la piel está muy mal. La aplicación es sencilla y seca rápido, y el envase pequeño hace que sea ideal para proyectos pequeños o para llevar en viajes. En resumen, para arreglos puntuales y renovar un poco el calzado está bastante bien, aunque para trabajos más exigentes buscaría algo más fuerte.

J'ai acheté la couleur argentée pour rénover une paire de sandales. Autrement j'aurais dû les jeter parce que la couleur était par endroits complètement partie. Je viens d'y mettre une seule couche, et elles sont de nouveau toutes belles. Si ça ne dure pas, je vais renouveller l'opération.
