No spoiler here, but, she does feel bad for the squirrel who looks “so cute.” Our bedtime routine usually consists of three short books and five songs before bed. What I like about this book is that it is just long enough that I could get by reading just one book prior to the songs. I am all for the Biscuit series, but I just can’t “woof” 43 times a night. I also like how this book teaches how to cope with frustration and how to promote compromise. It’s better to work together than to fight one another. The way that they highlight the names of the “heroes” is very beneficial as well. My daughter can recognize the names and associate them to the characters, which has helped her with associating letters to words to objects. She can even recognize Bingo’s name, which is not highlighted. Overall, her and I both love the series. The quality of the book is high for both content and structure. The paper is thick and glossy, and the artwork is quite colorful. A+ on the toddler scale. Review: I read this to my four year old son - it is one of his favorites! It's a great book that shows kids using their imaginations and finding ways to play together even when they can't agree.

E' il terzo libro di questa serie che acquisto: non mi delude mai! Le storie di Ladybug girl sono sempre carine ed avvincenti. Questa in particolare è adatta anche a dei maschietti.

This is an excellent book. It is very good on the dynamics of friendship and the imagination and problem-solving skills of children; it is beautifully drawn; and above all, effortlessly balanced on gender.
