I have had my loom for a while now and it still works well. I love making hats and scarves on my loom.

I bought this Addi because I had the micheals loops and thread knitting machine. The micheals knitting machine kept jamming when I crank it. It was very toy like, i made 1 hat, it was a child size. Yet it didn’t take bulky yarn. I was just not pleased with it . So, I decided to go and buy the Addi. I saw so many reviews on how much people loved it and was wondering what the hoopla was about. I must say the machine is just beautiful. You really have to buy one to experience what others have said about it. It’s a very hands on experience, as words can’t describe it, you must see it to believe it, as I just got it in the mail. Exceptional service from the seller, as it came early then expected. The wait was excruciating but worth it, the seller told me that this takes 7 to 20 business days to deliver, As this machine is coming from Germany. It’s also made in Germany. ( please find something to do while you wait for this to arrive, crochet if you have too! ) upon opening the box was exciting, I did receive everything as described ( a pattern book, the express hook, stoppers, and replacement needles, the machine and leg clamps and legs) i did not get the dvd. This is the Rolls Royce of circular knitting machine, very well built. Does not look toy like , like some other knitting machines. Made of durable plastic. Crank easily, there is 3 black hooks, unlike the 1 black hook on the micheals knitting machine, the addi Looks delicate still, you can’t go crazy with it. Heard you can make hats in 30 mins. Please, please appreciate it and care for it as it seems it will last a lifetime, if well maintained. Not light weight, it is a little heavy but portable.You are making a great investment on this, as this machine is not cheap. Please shop around for best price. Not everyone can afford it. After experimenting with it, it’s not that easy to use like many people have said in their reviews, this takes time getting used to the feel of it, if you’re a beginner like I am. If you have no idea then it will seem hard to use, Seems like you need some knowledge and experience, but i am going to refer to YouTube as to how to properly use this . In the pattern book, everything inside looks beautiful, but looks very hard to do unless you are an expert at using the addi knitting machine. The instructions manual is hard to understand. But there are better written ones in the beginning pages of the pattern book that was included with my order. After getting my own addi, i have to say i do recommend this to anyone who enjoys yarn work, crocheting,knitting, loom knitting to purchase one. or you know someone who loves yarn and needlework .. this makes a great gift, they will enjoy immensely. I read all the reviews & most stated shipping was slow. Wanted to get a head start on making Christmas gifts - hats with matching scarfs. I have rheumatoid arthritis & after reading reviews felt this would be better on my fingers than using knitting needles & crochet hooks. Love that once I understand how to use it, a hat can take 30 minutes. That’s a lot less stress on my finger joints & saves me a tremendous amount of time making my Christmas gifts!! I purchased this on Oct 11 & received it today, Oct 14!!! The Bundle arrived on the 3rd day after I purchased it. I was totally shocked! Had tracking info saying delivery today but after reading reviews I did not believe it & thought it would take a few weeks to arrive. Both boxes were packaged together. They arrived in pristine condition. Lots of packing materials surrounded the 2 boxes & 3 books. Going to watch a few more U-Tube videos then learn how to use both machines without breaking any needles! Lol! Will add my success… or failure… after my attempted use of these knitting machines. As of now, I can say communication & shipping from this seller was flawless!! Very surprised it arrived so quickly… & the that the boxes & contents appear brand new. Hoping these machines allow me to create the hats & scarves I want to knit, & then bring smiles to the faces of those who wear them!! Happy Customer!!

Product works well. Took 3 tries but then I realized I wasn't using enough tension as I held the yarn. Only included 1 skein of yarn. Not 2 as described. Not a big deal. That yarn wasnt sufficient for use anyway, except for a starter or ender, nor was it attractive. The one I did received was pretty small.

I looked at the knitting machine in the box for awhile before I attempted to use it. I love to crochet and never wanted to learn how to knit. Since I only know how to crochet, I felt a disadvantage in trying to use the machine and procrastinated. I had to play with the machine for awhile to get used to it. I put yarn on and then had to take it off because of either dropped stitches (not the machines fault) or not knowing how to take off the yarn when finished. Learning to take the yarn off the machine without the project unraveling was a challenge but thanks to YouTube, I figured it out. :)) "I have found that I love the machine". It makes beautiful scarves. I made a scarf for my daughter and she said the scarf looked store bought. I used Lion Brand Scarfie yarn. The machine is very well made and worth the price. I look forward to branching out beyond scarves to knit. I am hoping that in the future the manufacturer makes a plain straight knitting machine to go with this round one. That would be nice for bigger projects.

I love this machine, i make hats for our local schools, very sturdy, very easy to use. So much easier then knitting. 1/2 hour to make a beautiful hat or headband, addd a crocheted flower and have a wonderful gift. It lasted about a year and pieces broke off. I loved this machine

Received sooner than expected. Needed lithium grease out of the box but it works smoothly without issue. I’ve been using it to make children’s hats and flat panels to make blankets, very easy to use, even if you have never knit anything in your life. Highly recommend for anyone looking to make a lot of hats for charity.

The Addi is wonderful and well worth the price IF you make a lot of items in this size. My only complaint is that you need to be ready to do a lot of maintenance on the edges as they come put pretty raw.

Bought this for my boyfriend who researched it before I bought it. They brag that it’s easy to use and no prior skills are needed. This is not the case as the instructions are written in very poor English and there are knitting abbreviations that people new to knitting wouldn’t know. The machine has a tendency to skip and drop stitches and it really not that great at keeping tension on a project. I’m mostly dissapointed that I spent $300 on a machine that doesn’t do that great of a job of knitting and three different pattern books that are difficult to understand. I’ve been a hardcore knitter for five years and I still have a hard time deciphering the Addi patterns in the books.

I love my Addi Express KingSize edition knitting machine. I have had it for over a year and have no issues what so ever. I have made multiple knitting projects on it. It was expensive but well worth it.

It takes quite a few tries to get one product without dropped stitches - I finally after almost giving up figured out how to hold the yarn to prevent dropped stitches - I reached out to the company for help and they never got back to me - poor customer service.
