Schmidt Capless Rollerball Pen

Superb writing experience. The pen is quite light, balance not an issue. It's thin at about 10mm diameter. The barrel has matte finish, so you have a good grip while writing. Important for me as a left handed writer, there is absolutely no smudging whatsoever. No matter how hard I try, I cannot get this pen to smudge, ever, at all. I don't know how they create ink that dries so quickly. Cartridge writes very smoothly. The click mechanism is quiet, and quite smooth.

The Schmidt Rollerball Pen is a light weight, but very stable pen. Maintains a good grasp in the hand and its weight lets you dictate the writing pattern. Its ink cartridge delivers excellent flow of ink.This pen is shall I say…on point.

The gift pen was for a 70th birthday for a friend whom last name was Schmidt. The pen was nicely displayed in a case. When using the pen it flowed swiftly evenly across the stationary, without any drip marks. Even a person with poor penmanship the high quality pen had a steady flow of ink, which help turning your writing letters into beautiful penmanship. Highly recommend.

It writes well, they’ve done well with the cartridge. The pen however I would say is not worth $5. The button is gritty and sloppy and the clip which can be used to retract the point feels flimsy.

I now have four of these pens, and I'm sold. I wanted a decent looking, capless rollerball, and these have a good feel and write smoothly. It's a simple, straightforward mechanism, so not much can go wrong. They're on the light side, but I've come to like that.

I love the Schmidt capless roller ball Pen and its action. The Schmidt capless refill lives up to the Schmidt NAME/Quality. The only problem I had was in the ordering of pens refills. I thought the schmidt P8126 refill was some how recommended with this pen or another pen I bought, so I bought 4 black and 4 blue. They were too short and I do not have a pen, (and I literally tried all I own), that the refills will fit. Dag Nab ITMark

Pen writes really nice but it is very lightweight and not worth the price tag. Also did not come with the refill like it was listed.
