It was SO worth it! I absolutely ADORE this keyboard!!!!! Makes my ipad feel like a mini laptop :3
5 stars because it did everything it should and it feels JUST like a MacBook it feel amazing and now my ipad feels just like a mini laptop, i love it a lot and this decision of buying it was worth it because the packaging was amazing , the instructions manual was clear and AMAZING charging time it took only about 2 hour and 15 minutes or so..its pretty easy to fit on and the holder for the ipd is very sturdy so far not loosening on day 1..i love this product a lot because the AMOUNT of handy keys on the top of the keyboard has literally changed my perspectie on this keyboard…overall 11/10 awesome would buy again if it was broken! After 4 months of use I came back to write a review. Really would like to give it a 4.5 star, the only downside is the weight, but, since it needs the weight to hold the iPad straight for a decent viewing angle, can not complain anymore. What I found surprising is the keyboard, I own/owned many laptops (Macbooks, Thinkpads, LGs, Asus), the keyboard is really good comparing to other laptop, if not, on par with Thinkpads, definitely better than the MacBook Pro low key travel keyboard. Initially I thought it won’t be as good as the previous gen Macbooks, until I found the old Macs and gave it a try, it’s even better than the old MacBook Pro!

Bravo.

I bought a few different keyboards for the iPad Pro 11 inches and none of them are close to the quality and usability of the Bridge keyboard. The feeling of the keyboard is very much like the older macbooks. It has a good key travel and, even for the 11 inches iPad, the keyboard doesn't feel cramped at all (my hands are on the smaller side). The backlight does help a lot for productivity when it gets dark. I've been using my iPad Pro with the Brydge keyboard for a while now and I can't believe how well it works when you have little space to work with. I sometimes have to do a few hours of train travel for my job and with the very small and cramped tablet available to put your computer on, this works wonders compared to my 15.6 inches laptop. The only downside to this keyboard is the weight. It does add a lot of weight to the iPad.

There’s two things you immediately notice about this keyboard. The quality and the weight. Firstly the quality is superb, It’s easy to install your iPad Pro, and is quick to sync and the keys are brilliant to use. All in all you can tell this has not been made on the cheap. I actually love using it. It is a bit weighty - however I’ll only be using my iPad Pro with the keyboard around the house so that’s not a big issue. I’ll still keep my normal case when travelling. This does mean for me that the weight is not really an issue. From the different keyboards I have tried (usually owned by friends) this is by far the best one. I can’t really comment on the battery life yet, but it does advertise it lasts upto a year 1 so that’s an encouraging sign. To sum up - give it a go you won’t regret it I got mine on special offer for £99 that’s £50 off the normal price. Well worth it.

I’ve had the Brydge Pro for about 2-3 weeks now. I Really like the keyboard and it really turns the iPad into a MacBook like feel. The appearance is really nice and the added weight is expected with a premium style keyboard. I do have a few issues with it though. Upon receiving the keyboard, I had to remove my tempered glass screen protector in order to even use the keyboard. It was such a tight fit with the protector on the ipad wouldn’t seat correctly in the hinges. I contacted Brydge about this and I was told that i could purchase they’re $29.99 screen protector that is “guaranteed” to work. So much for the $20 screen protectors I paid for prior to this purchase. I feel like that should be included with they keyboard at the price point you pay for it. I have not been able to get the Brydge to come up to a full 100% charge even after charging the full 8 hours upon initial use. I’ve gotten as high as 98% and currently it’s at 95% while on the charger as I’m typing this. There’s also some type of black spots as shown in the picture that are on the keyboard. I’m sure it’s just some sort of mass production mishap that doesn’t affect the functionality. You can barely see it but it does take away some cool points for not catching this type of thing in QA. I haven’t tried the usb mode but I’m sure it works just fine. The hinges are very well made and can support the weight of the iPad in most positions until it gets to far back without your hands resting on the keyboard. The rubber feet on bottom are very good at keeping the unit stable on any surface. Brydge did a really great job in designing this unit. I would recommend a second or third generation with trackpad support since the iPad OS is capable of mouse support now. That would be awesome. Other than that, I love my new keyboard!!
