This is a fine paint touch-up product--it's always go to go with factory paint. Delivery was a tad slow. I ordered it on May 15th and it finally arrived on November 3rd. The price was great--so much so that I figured that the vendor might have had second thoughts about actually shipping it at that price. I tried to cancel the order three or four times, but Amazon indicated that it couldn't do so as the product was about to ship. The charge appeared on my credit card several times as pending, but only went through a few days ago when the paint stick shipped. Despite all that--and since I didn't yet have a scratch on my new truck--I am happy with the product and happy to have finally received it.

I had about a pencil eraser sized paint chip down to the primer on my PX8 Pitch Black Dodge Challenger. This paint repair pen color matched perfectly and you can barely tell where the repair was made. I used the pen mode for the initial coating of black paint. Just a tiny dab of pressure pretty much filled the majority of the hole. I did a second application later with the paint brush. The paint brush is pretty hard to use if the chip is small, but it still does the job fine. The clearcoat was much harder to apply though and won't look particularly great if you don't sand/buff it afterwards. You want this to be done in basically one smooth stroke as it very thick and hard to fix afterwards. I pretty much botched the clearcoat application as I did not practice beforehand. Even still, the repair looks great even at 1ft away. You can only tell the clear isn't smooth by feel or if you get ~3inches away staring at the exact spot with light directly shining on it and see how lumpy my application of clearcoating was. You can see what I mean in the pictures. But since it color matches and the paint is like a mirror, you can only really tell at certain angles up close. Totally worth the money.

I ordered this for my new Jeep Wrangler. Lightweight and slim, so easier to use

I needed something for some scratches my Jeep's hard top put in the rear passenger door when taking it off one time... Someone on a Jeep forum recommended this touch up paint from Mopar, so I gave it a try. Looks great. From a distance of even just six or seven feet, it's almost impossible to see that it was scratched and touched up. This has the clear coat as well so it's supposed to match well over time also. We'll see. But makes it look nearly new, untouched in that spot, and I no longer have to growl at my stupidity every time I approach from the passenger's side of the car...

Purchased with more hopes than expectations. However the market covered up the scratches on the door jam perfectly. I wish I had taken before and after pictures. If I took a picture now, no one would even believe it was scratched up like it was. Color was perfect match.
