Korrespondenz ausschließlich in Englisch.

I have put batteries in this and tried it out but not on actual boar yet so bear in mind my review is more about the quality of the hardware. Firstly I’ll start with the volume level. I’ve read that boars can hear pretty well at over 100 yards. This call may be just loud enough for me to hear at 100 yards so the boar should have no issue with volume. There’s also a nice power switch on the volume wheel so you don’t bump the device and set it off. The calls themselves last over 10 seconds, and I didn’t want to continue to anger my dog much longer but they may actually be continuous loops no worries though, they can be turned off by pressing the button for that call again or turning off the device. The mounting options are limited seeing as there is a plastic loop on top for a non included lanyard and nothing else. I would’ve liked to at least have seen the option to mount a clip like the older model. I love the rubber grips around the edge it’s a really nice touch. And finally, about the sound quality. This will depend on what volume level you have it at but it’s probably a 5-7 out of 10. It’s has that same cheap sound to it that you find in a McDonald’s toy while also being fairly clear sounding it’s a weird experience. Regardless this wasn’t meant to help me feel the beat, it’s meant to call boar and I think it’s clear enough for them (no static or anything it just has zero bass at all). I hope it works but it also didn’t make me skeptical to return it (once I try it I won’t be bringing it back home so I’d have to return based on build quality).
