Threads on this lid are squared off, the threads on my older bottle are rounded. It is difficult to get the lid on properly so that it does not leak. The threads seem to slip causing the lid to become loose. If I fill the bottle with a hot liquid the vacuum created by the liquid cooling cause the cap to seal tight, but removing it is difficult because the threads slip will unscrewing the cap. Need to pull up on the cap while unscrewing it, also need to hold the bottle on a solid surface so that when it finally releases the liquid will not go everywhere.

The lid was a replacement, it’s color was an exact match to my cobalt bottle.

Wanted something fun for my Hydroflask. I purchased the pink, green and blue tops. Good materials and very happy purchase.
