Can I use one earbud at the time ?

Yes, i have done that multiple times. I do find that on occasion you have to take the second earbud out of the case to get it to connect to your device. also know if you use the earbud control functions you would only have the controls for the earbud you have in place. i dont find this to be a major problem for me.

Is this worth buying?

Not for the price they have it at. The Surface Buds are good headphones but already very dated and can be uncomfortable. I brought these and quickly switched back to my galaxy Buds 2 and beats Fit pro headphones.

Do the headphones come with a bluetooth adaptor to connect to a PC?

They are bluetooth headphones so it's built it. They can connect to 2 devices at the same time. So you can be bluetooth connected to a phone and to a laptop. If your PC is not bluetooth capable you will need to add that to your PC.
