This has been a godsend for my wavy hair. It keeps my hair hydrated without weighing it down. It doesn't offer any hold, but it helps to smooth my hair (prevent frizz). It is thinner, but I think this helps with applying it all over without having to use a lot of product (super easy to apply). Because it is so light, I am able to get a ton of volume. It is on the pricy side, but I love this product so much and it lasts forever.

Smells divine, keeps curls nice and frizz free and has a slight hold that really allows for a great styling with basically zero effort. I put in my hair after a shower and towel drying, and then go from there. It gives my hair a little volume/texture where it needs it especially on the end lengths too, which helps my curls form more easily and naturally!

I'm a male with long hair 8" past my shoulders with probably 2A on top and 3A curls everywhere else. Imagine Jason Mamoa's hair with the bottom half spiral curls. I had stress-induced hair loss (maybe 30%) that's growing back now. I was reluctantly going to cut it for this reason as it looked thin to me. This product is amazing. My hair looks as full as before. Curls are defined and I live in S. FL humidity. I don't need a lot and I'm someone that usually uses a lot. I use 3 pea sized dollops after towels drying, sometimes a little mouse. My hair is everywhere in the morning so the next day I just splash a little water in it, scrunch and it's good for another day. There's some scent, but it doesn't bother me. I used to use leave in conditioner and mouse, but this looks much fuller, curls are defined, and my hair is soft like there was no product, just well behaved hair. Davines saved me from having to cut off a few years of growth to let the new hair catch up and look fuller. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

IM TELLING YOU THIS STUFF IS THE BEST GEL FOR CURLY HAIR EVER. I’ve used this product since I was like 12 and it has never once failed me and my curls haven’t stopped responding to it either. It smells amazing, forms a great cast and then looks really good when you break it. I love love love this product and I would cry if they stopped making it.

I really like the is so far. I have very fine, wavy/curly hair that easily frizzes out like an 80s hair band. I’ve been adding to my hair in the shower while it’s dripping wet, combing out with a large tooth comb, then letting air dry. My curls are much more defined with this and it leaves my hair soft and bouncy. (No crunchiness, no greasy feel when dry) I will say it’s hit/miss on product amount. Too much and my hair goes flat, refusing to curl. Too little, and I have a frizzy mess. Working through that process as I use this & I imagine everyone’s hair it different. Still, I’m very pleased so far.

Firm hold for curls without the crunch. Smell is ok, but not my fav. The scent is short lived. Coach Kimmy (YouTube hairstylist) uses this in her salon. She is a wealth of info on hair and a specialist in layering hair. Check her out. I do recommend this product if you have older hair with big C waves, it will make them more defined with no frizzes.

This is amazing. I also use it for smoothing. It isn’t tacky and it works really well on my fine hair.

Love that this keeps my curls in place with a light, natural feel. Usual delightful Davine fragrance. Use only a small amount and get maximum hold. Pricey but lasts a long time and well worth the expenditure.
