I started taking this Metamucil Sugar-Free 4-in-1 Psyllium Fiber mainly because I deal with diarrhea more than constipation (opposite of what it's usually advertised for). I was skeptical, but it worked amazingly well—firms things up, reduces urgency and frequency, and gives me normal, regular bowel movements without any cramping or worsening. It's gentle, mixes okay in water (orange flavor is tolerable, not too sweet since it's sugar-free), and I take 2 teaspoons daily. Even better bonus: after a few months of consistent use, my LDL cholesterol dropped from 110 to 58! That's a huge win for heart health—I wasn't expecting that, but the psyllium fiber really does trap cholesterol and help lower it (backed by studies and Metamucil's own claims). No side effects for me, and it's affordable in bulk. If you have diarrhea/IBS-D issues or want natural cholesterol support, this is worth trying (start low and drink plenty of water).

I forgot that I bought this on Amazon several months ago. My stash is almost gone. I try to take two teaspoons a day, but I miss days every now and then. It works. Any kind of intestinal disorder you might have, I suggest you try this. It will clear up diarrhea and/or constipation in a few hours. You will at the least see dramatic improvement the next day. This can has enough to last one person at least 3 months. Also, be careful about taking more than the directions. I tried that. And, this thing is full of fiber, way more than the intestines can really deal with at other than prescribed doses. I was using two big tablespoons, and that is not good. It actually works against the stool some kind of way and promotes constipation big time. I always like to use more than any subscription, and two full teaspoons is about the best for this product. They say two level teaspoons, but a little more doesn't really hurt that much.

I rarely go a day without taking this after having internal hemorrhoids removed, as my doctor advised me to use this on a daily basis. I have not had any return issues. This is a bulk size, which allows you to save money. I also appreciate that it is sugar-free, which is another important thing for me. I actually really love the smell of this and the taste is great also. This is easy to mix into water and dissolves easily. Due to the texture, it does stick to your glass a little bit, so you will want to rinse and scrub with hot water after drinking the liquid. Overall, this is a great value for the money and I would highly recommend it!

Perfect for moving bulk through the digestive tract. Works exactly as described and helped me lose my extra belly fat (54yo male). Taste isn't terrible at all...similar to a "fortified" orange tang. Love the sugar-free aspect and nutritional gains from psyllium husk intake! Only negative I found in several months of regular use is the maltodextrin ingredient so I'll likely switch to the clear version which does not contain the maltodextrin.
