This quality Midland NMO magnet mount for my Midland MXT26-A GMRS is worth every dollar. From the super strong and durable magnet NMO to the high-quality cable with the durable connector. This is even stronger and more durable than my previous Mellow wave NMO mag mount which I like very well. My overall reception is even better paired with the original Midland NMO magnet mount compared to my previous Mellow wave NMO Mount.

Great magnetic NMO base. Strong magnet, stays on vehicle at highway speeds. Coax cable and connector seam to be good quality.

Be careful with this NMO adapter, because that magnet will pull HARD. The 12' cable is awesome for complex antenna setups. I've used this with both the MXTA26 6dbi whip antenna and the 3dbi stubby antenna. They both work well. 1. Use a stubby antenna for areas with tall buildings. 2. Use the whip antenna for any other purpose -- you will more likely be able to reach repeaters with a whip antenna. Whilst this works best with Midland antennas, it will work perfectly fine with other antennas that use the NMO connector. I've used this mag mount in varying weather conditions, and it's never fallen off.
