Code of Princess EX Nintendo Switch (#)

I've wanted to give this game for a number of years, since the 3ds release by Atlus ... yes Atlus, one of the hallowed names in gaming ...So why the delay before trying?Well quite simply because I live in Europe and there was no hardcopy available.It's a shame the 3ds was/is region locked.I never wanted to fork out for the digital download from the eshop and i would honestly have prefered to own this as a hardcopy on the 3ds.Anyway, looking around before buying the switch version I saw it was getting good reviews but not great reviews ...Happy Console Gamer gave this version 7/10.I felt I wanted to play it.As i understand it, this is pretty much a straight port.Now I adore the 3ds so I don't have a problem with the graphics ...To me it looks decent enough, could have benefited and a sharpen up ...as i say still pretty decent.Control wise to start with it feels pretty slow and actually sluggish, so your off to a bit of an overwhelming first impression.Also the controls are odd to begin with ... you don't just walk around by pushing directionally on the analogs.It moves between the dpad and analog ... a little odd i think.There must be an art to it but combat is a little bit button mashey!Now I do need to be clear and tell you that i have only been playing for around 3 hours.Which is maybe a little unfair from me on this point.Mine contained a mini cd and full colour manual.I'd go and watch a review before buying especially if the going rate is £40 which is what i paid for it.I have no regrets on my purchase ...If your on a budget then this is probably a game you can do without.If you come across a copy for a good price it may be worth a go ... if you like the look of it.If it's on your list and calling you for a purchase, i still think it would be wise to pick it up later used or at a good price drop.I may add more here when i've given the game more time.As is i'm rating at 5.5/10Happy gaming and Thank you peeps!!🐒

The game is a good hack and slash if a bit chaotic at the later stages with a large cast of playable characters to choose from. The story is interesting and the mechanics are simple, but effective.

Lo jugué un par de horas y no me convención. El gameplay esta tedioso y bien raro, no es como un beatem up tradicional. Los gráficos están algo feos, y los personajes se mueven bien lento.No parecía que fuera un juego largo, pero no hay nada aquí que me invite a seguirlo jugando.

El juego es genial y sin duda el port vale la pena, lo único malo es que la edición que compras actualmente no viene con los goodies, pero por el precio vale la pena, en mi caso lo compre en una oferta en las que amazon se vuelve loco.Espero que les sirva de algo mi opinión, la forma de diferenciar una edición de otra es por la calcomania que tiene en le empaque, el cual confirma que en el interior tiene los goodies.
