This is a small footprint mouse with basic features. It is a comfortable non gaming mouse.
I ordered the perfect mouse by mistake. This model is narrower than the Teknet I have been using. But, it works out because this UM013 is a smaller size and it fits perfectly in the compact work area I have for this device. This replaces a basic el cheapo mouse that came free with a system. But, this Teknet is Way more comfortable and quieter than the basic clickety click mouse included with my device. The UM013 is only 2 and 5/8 inches wide. It has a thumb indentation on the left side. On top, there is room for index and middle fingers. and on the right, there is a side notch for the ring finger. Your pinky finger drags on the desk. And it seems designed for the right hand.Be aware, this model Does Not have Exterior Led Lights. It Does Have two programable buttons on the left side that are thumb-able. And it has a DPI button on top behind the scroll wheel.Again, this is a smaller foot print mouse with spartan features. But I only use it for a few minutes at time, no gaming, so it is perfect for my wired mouse needs. I would imagine it makes a good travel bag mouse. These mouse products look the same in the Amazon pictures. But this recent purchase Teknet UM013 is Way Smaller than the Teknet mouse I have been using. And that could be problem for you, if for instance you want a gaming mouse or one that supports your whole hand. This is not that mouse.I have been using for several years, a Teknet GM2793-1 on a PC, and it still works perfectly. But, it is wider at 3 and 1/4 inches wide with a full thumb and full pinkie rest with severl colors exterior led lights and four programable buttons. It is about as comfortable and enjoyable to use as my RAT3. And It was 1/3 the price. My previous Teknet purchase has been very durable. And they are an excellent value. So get your tape and measure the width of the mouse you are replacing, or you may be surprised that your replacement is Not the Same Size.

A Great Choice, With One Caveat
I really like this mouse. It feels great in the hand, is highly precise, and ranks among the best I’ve used. That said, if you’re not accustomed to extra buttons, be aware — this isn’t your standard work mouse. It does not come with built-in software to remap its buttons, which means they default to page-back and page-forward functions. This can be frustrating if you accidentally hit them while typing, potentially losing work mid-response.Fortunately, there’s an easy fix: third-party software like X-Mouse Button Control or the lightweight Mouse Manager lets you disable or reassign the side buttons in just a few clicks.Overall, this is a fantastic gaming and work mouse — smooth, reliable, and comfortable. I highly recommend it, but keep this caveat in mind before purchasing.

Very good quality
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I've been buying these mice for about 10+ years now. They're pretty good and quite tough. The hand doesn't get tired from using it continuously (like gaming).I have to replace them every 3-4 years as something stops working (usually the scroll), but it's not their fault. I'm a polymer clay artist and I make tutorials for YouTube so it's pretty impossible for some crumb of polymer clay to not get somewhere around/in the mouse. And polymer clay "eats" plastic. So yes, I will keep replacing them with the same brand.

ergonomic design, but has some sensitivity issues
Great ergonomic design, and an overall good product for the price. The one issue I have with it is that the sensitivity keeps changing randomly, even when I didn't change it in my game or computer settings. I have to adjust the settings every other day. I can't be certain this is an issue with the mouse itself, but my laptop hasn't had this problem with my other mouse.

Great mouse!
I really like this. It is light weight and durable. The mouse moves easily and was easy to install. I also love the color and it just works really well, easy to click and move around.

Great mouse for the price
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I really like the positive feel of the left and right buttons. The mouse I had before had a mushy feel, but this mouse has a very distinct feel when the button click registers. I didn't think I'd use the forward and back buttons on the left side, but I use them a lot. Overall, a really good mouse for the price.

Solid Mouse - Would buy again even with tariffs
The shape of this wired mouse reminded me of a Logitech gaming mouse. The difference is that the size of this mouse is smaller, so it would work best for someone with small hands. However, it isn't uncomfortable to use with big hands. You just don't get the full advantage of the ergonomics. The buttons have a good feel to them, and and the click of the primary button is soft and buttery. The extra buttons make it useful for gaming, a nice plus.It feels like a good quality device for $10. It replaces a cheap wireless Verbatim mouse that worked well enough but for some reason eats batteries. One of the reasons I went with a wired this time is because I will never have to worry about changing out mouse batteries again (which isn't a major life problem, but it is also a problem that this mouse solved). One alternative is the Amazon Basics mouse. That is a no frills device that works well for any work computer. It lacks the extra buttons of the Tecknet mouse, so is not as good for gaming.

Good fit good operation
I use wireless but my sponsor uses the wired type. Plug n play. Then just forget about it. It works.
