Awesome scooter
I bought this for my daughter's 9th birthday. It replaces her older Barbie scooter, which although it was a good scooter, was pretty young looking. This is a big step up in quality and appearance, but is still fine for the younger ages. She is plenty big enough for it and didn't have any issues with it. I rode it a bit also and was happy that it's handlebars are adjustable enough for an adult or child. The wheels seem a little larger on this than on my other daughter's Razor. And the green color is really popular here. It rides very smooth and folds up nicely. When unfolded, all parts lock into position for a secure ride. Great product.

received used razor with damage box
got this for my son's birthday and so disappointed to find the box been opened and damaged. Both wheels shows signs of use. There is also a small dent on the front bar. This is upsetting cause my son's been wanting this scooter. I don't have sufficient time to get him a replacement so I have to keep it!! If item is used or returned, shouldn't Amazon inspect the item before selling it??? or telling the potential customer that the item was a refurbished item??? Disappointed!!

Doesn't fold well, and it may give your shins "Razor" cuts (or nicks at least).
Two complaints:1) The scooter does not fold or unfold easily. There is a lever that requires significant force and multiple tries. I called tried other people's scooter, of this model and similar (A1, A2) and found the same issue. I called Razor customer service and after saying that it shouldn't be hard, said, "here are some tips that may help the issue..." which suggests that they have heard this complaint before. One of the tips (to pull up and away on the T-bar while pushing the lever, seems to help, but it is not easy nor does it work consistently.2) The scooter swings wildly when carried and not yet folded, resulting in nicked shins; the name "razor" is appropriate. It would be easy to provide for (an add-on or direct mechanism) that prevents this swinging but they have neglected to do so.My son is 5 and was previously a master of a 3 wheel scooter, flying down the block. This Razor has achieved the desired goal of slowing him down, but the problems above make me regret my decision.Update: it's still not great, but with time one gets the 'trick' of making it fold. Ya' still gotta watch your shins. I wish it could "click" in place for carrying so as not to swing wildly. And now, 6 months on, my son is just as fast as he was on a 3 wheel scooter.

Better than original
Bought this for my daughter's 11th birthday to replace her old razor scooter. She needsed a new one since her older one has a lot of wear and tear. Bearings in the wheels are much faster than the old one. Scooter is much more durable. She needed one that was larger and this one is great. Tallest of all all the kick scooter models.Pros: Faster and larger. Better construction that original.Cons: Lack of colors to choose from.

My Lovely Green Razor Scooter
I'm an adult, I don't care! This thing is awesome. I have been using my scooter for a week now, to go to the grocery store, and to work. It cuts my commute time from 40 mins to 20 mins. Likewise with getting to the grocery store, 20 mins to 10 mins, so it has reduced travel time by %50 when compared to walking. I am 5' 6", and I was concerned the scooter would be hard to control because of it's light weight; I was also concerned it would irritate my shoulder because I presumed I would be hunched over, holding onto handle bars that where a few inches to short. On the contrary, this has not been an issue at all, and not only is it comfortable to use (when the terrain is right) but it is an incredible cardio work out! The handle bars reach the bend of my waist, long enough for me to stand with good posture, and still hold firmly to the handles. I used to have a Razor Scooter when they where new and all the craze when I was a kid, but now I'm a 24 and I must admit, getting this new scooter for my self does make me feel like a kid again... a very big out of shape kid. I know it might be strange seeing a Lady Librarian scoot through the city in office attire, but I'm saving on emissions, saving money on gas, saving time from walking, and getting a better work out than I had before. P.S. My commute is exactly 1.4 miles one way, just to give you a sense of how far I go in 20 minutes, factoring in cross walks, I could go further in 20 minutes if I didn't have to stop and wait 2 or 3 times for traffic. P.P.S. Unit paving is a pain, I have to pass over a couple of brick pavements, and it slows my roll a little bit. The shock doesn't absorb a thing that I can tell, but I have nothing to compare it to except my car. Still... GLAD I TOOK THE RISK. I love my green scooter. -^__^-

High Quality Scooter
I bought this for my six year-old daughter. I was impressed by the high quality materials used for this scooter. The scooter is light but still has some heft to it. It is not flimsy like the plastic inexpensive scooters. An adult can easily use it as well. The wheels spin very well and it runs smoothly. The only downside that I have with the scooter is that it can be difficult for my daughter to unlock it when it is folded. She has difficulty pushing the lever that lets you unfold it.

Sturdy, Easy to Use
I'm a girl in college and I bought this scooter as a fast means of transportation around campus when I need it. I got it yesterday and scootered around and it was wonderful! The wheels handle the ridges in the sidewalk pretty well, and the handle bars are high enough to where I can stand straight and reach them (I'm about 5'4). Brake seems to work moderately well, but I don't think I'll be speed racing around campus anyways. Instructions were clear, and it folds up nicely. I would reccommend this scooter to anyone looking to be a casual user.

Fun but dangerous, I wish I had never bought it.
Lots of fun until my son got countless stitches on his lips from hitting the side of the handle when falling on it. It was the classic model, but I guess they are all the same.
