Great item !! Fit perfect on our Big Green Egg !! Great packaging !!!!

I was removing the cover from my egg when the cord snagged the cap, flipping it off the egg and onto the concrete deck..... I ordered this cap and it is identical to the one the egg came with. Same thick ceramic construction and the beautiful green glaze finish which is a perfect color match to my egg. It bottoms out perfectly against the top of the lid making a good seal. If you didn't know it was a replacement you would think it was the original part. It came in a reinforced heavy cardboard box with cardboard dampers inside to prevent damage. It arrived in perfect condition. I highly recommend this if you need a replacement!

Fit perfectly on my Large green egg.

lasted just under 4 years before starting to crumble, not super pleased but not terrible for a non OEM replacement. Never dropped but just started to flake on inside and eventually got worse with multiple interior spider cracks. We use our egg a lot, minimum 2-3 times a week in the summer, so I would say our experience is a good use case for most when it comes to the products longevity.

This was a perfect replacement for the original one. Packaging was very good with little chance for breakage..
