Great subs for the price
Subs are very loud for 8s. Paired 4 in a quad skar sub box for my 2018 f150. Great quality for low profile hit very hard for the power supplied to them Saves space and fits under seat perfectly.

Strong sub
VD10 is what i got and after 2 months i swear it just keeps banging harder. did the 20 hour break in and seems to be helping or this is just a solid sub. im putting 700 watts to it and its not distorting at all bery happy for the price. leaves me wanting 12s though

Got 2 and Bangs. 2020 F150.
These SUBS HIT – Great Upgrade for My F-150! I bought a used 2020 Ford F-150 with no premium sound, and needed something to bring the music to life. Started with one 8" sub in a sealed box powered by an RP 800.1D amp (I went with the white marine version—looks clean). It was decent at 4 ohms, but after 20 years away from the audio scene, I knew I needed more. I added a second 8" dual 2-ohm Skar sub and dropped the load to 2 ohms using their prefabbed ported box. WORLD of difference. This setup absolutely hits—tight, clean, and loud for 8s. I double-checked everything on the Skar website to make sure it all matched up, and the results speak for themselves. My dad enjoys the deeper sound, my wife loves the added fullness to the music, and most importantly—my 17-year-old son now begs to drive my truck just for the system. Install was easy, the box fits perfectly under the rear seat and looks factory. Multiple people have seen it and couldn’t believe it wasn’t stock. This sub, amp, and box combo slaps no matter what genre you play. If you're looking for solid bass fill and don’t want to break the bank, this setup is 100% worth it. I’ve been running it daily for over 4 months—2 hours a day, high power—and it’s still going strong.

Perfect Balance of Power, Price, and Practicality
These are perfect for a car system that wants good bass but doesn't quite want to be "competition." It will rattle your car and has plenty power to satisfy most people when paired with an equally specced amp. It had been very good quality so far and after breaking them in for a little bit, they can handle higher db without popping/cutting out. I'd say these are worth the money for sure at least for a basshead like me that doesn't want to go through putting in a second battery and complicated multi box setups.

Incredible sounding sub, but a little janky with the mounting rubber ring.
I was a little doubtful this sub would live up to it's reviews, but it's freaking awesome. I had recently blown a Rockford Fosgate P3 shallow mount and needed a new sub in a pinch. I found this on on amazon and figured I'd give it try. Upon opening the box, I was pretty surprised how solid the sub felt, the rubber surround seemed really strong, nice magnet, and looked really well built. When I went to install it, I noticed the rubber ring that goes around the outside where you put the screws through didn't quite line up with the holes on the sub. So I pulled it off, realigned the best I could. It still didn't line up quite right. This is my only complaint with this sub. I had to re-drill through the rubber to get everything lined up. Once installed it made a really good seal, but it doesn't look the cleanest. I wish they'd given a trim ring like my fosgate to hide the screws. In any event, I broke this in over the course of the past two weeks and slowly have been turning it up. I'm just blown away how much better this sounds then the Fosgate I had installed. It really thumps for a shallow mount and it's night and day from the past sub. Same enclosure, Skar sub sounds 10x better than the previous. I'm really kind of in a state of disbelief. Hopefully it's durable, I'll update later once I've had this in for a couple months. For now, I'm super impressed. I only knocked one star off due to the mounting ring, take a look at my review photo and you can see how it didn't line up.

Great sub
Put 2 of these with a skar 1200w mono in a Qpower box for my 2005 f250, sound great. Not JL audio quality but they are punchy, get pretty low especially for a pre built box and beginner/mid range skar amp. Overall gave me the bass I wanted in my truck, not overwhelming rattling windows but definitely feel it. Have purchased higher model skars previously they will give you much much deeper and louder bass. But it you just want something decent not overwhelming you found the right sub

Amazing sub.
These things have great boom per buck. Skar has a cheap reputation, but I've been abusing a pair of these for a over a year and they are taking everything i can throw at em. They are in a prefab jeep tj box wired to a kicker 1200w amp.. so far so very good. I have a single elv in a box in my car and that thing Rips , but also takes 2x the amount of airspace the vd series requires.
