I was looking for any relief I could find and was honestly expecting snake-oil but was willing to give it a shot. I was pleasantly shocked to feel a noticeable improvement almost immediately. This will be part of my daily routine from here on out along with my inhalers. I’ve already re-ordered.

I've been taking herbal tinctures most of my adult life. I've purchased different brands, I make my own alcohol-based tinctures using all sorts of herbs. This product tastes exactly like an alcohol-based tincture with material from the earth, exactly what you'd expect a medicinal herbal to taste like. It has no fillers, no preservatives, no taste enhancers like commercial cough syrup made to taste like cherry to accommodate the finicky consumer. People writing reviews that says, it tastes awful, it made them "puke" are probably not accustomed to taking botanical tinctures. There is NOTHING, absolutely nothing about this tincture that differentiates it from most other herbal tinctures. If you want bad taste, try sage or valerian in a tincture. If you never smelled valerian, give it a go then smell this. Based on the reviews, I thought that the mushrooms might have exceptionally bad taste profile different from other tinctures. No, it smells and tastes like alcohol because it's 30-40% alcohol, with raw mushrooms from the earth. I can't say it tastes good, nor can I say it tastes bad. Those are very subjective reviews based on your experience and tolerance for taking medicinal botanicals. There is no foul odor compared to other herbals, but not as nice as something like elderberry. It is what it is. You're taking a medicine designed to heal your body. If you're a lush, you'll have no problems. The fact that you personally can't tolerate the taste is not a reflection of the product. It would be reasonable to say, I didn't tolerate the taste but it's stretch to say it tastes like anything other than what it is. REvise your expectations if you're not experienced at taking herbal tinctures with alcohol and ensure when you review it you tell others that it might have more to do with you then the actual product. You might want to find a product with vegetable glycerin because it's sweeter and will mask the musty, earth flavor of the mushrooms. It is what it is and it wouldn't be worthwhile if it tasted like cotton candy. Sheesh!!

It works okay but expensive

I don't usually notice results from supplements so obviously that it warrants a review. The older I get, despite eating clean, watching my weight and exercising, I have noticed intermittent increasing wheezing and crackling in my lungs. It kind of freaks me out sometimes. I have tried Host Defense MyCommunity tincture and loved it, and thought this may be worth a try, and if anything it couldn't hurt. For the firs time in years, I can turn to something that within minutes takes away the crackling in my lungs. I take a dropper full under my tongue. If you are used to tinctures it is not at all unpleasant. Goes down as easy as good whisky:) I am so grateful for this product!

Love it!!!!!! I have COPD to the point i have been bed ridden because I could not breath. My lung doctor and family could not hear air moving in my lungs. I had an appointment 3 days after i received this product. my family doctor was shocked he could hear air moving in my lungs. Don't get me wrong the crackling is still there but i can breath again. It is getting better but I could not belive how fast this stuff worked. yes I would tell everyone to order this product and I will be buying it again.

Absolutely, excellent. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I am a teacher and being in and out of a classroom all day was playing havoc with my immune system. I kept a cold. The last bout landed me in the ER, so I knew I had to do something. I did my research and saw this product. It helps to protect the lungs. This may be TMI, but as soon as I took it, phlegm came out EVERYTIME that I coughed. As soon as I took it, I felt a light feeling in the lungs/chest and then came the phlegm. Have been taking it for 1 month with drastic temperature change from day to day. So far, have not gotten sick. Let's see how it is in the long run. Regardless, it is beneficial for your health anyway.
