You put the eggs into the penguins and boil the whole thing. Then you can store them in the fridge in the holder taking them out as needed. It really is practical and whimsical.

I’m not too sure it’s worth the price. It’s pretty flimsy and cheap looking but you are paying for the “cute factor” and it sure has loads of that!The Amazon shipping was horrible, they put it in the plastic bag mailer and it arrived totally crushed and the box torn in several spots and ungiftable. I’ll have to find another box it fits in to present it nicely as a gift.I can no longer find where to file packaging complaints and I’ve had several over the past year.

UPDATE - the seller sent a new one and assured me that this isn't normal for the product. So, I'm bumping the review up to 4 stars for now.Original ReviewIt is handy and I love the concept. One side started splitting open after the first use. Then after the second use, the other side is also starting to split open. I'm hoping it doesn't split any farther apart.

I ordered 2 of the Egguins. I only received 1. I contacted 3rd party seller and within days had my 2nd one delivered free of charge! Before the 2nd one arrived I used the 1st one and LOVE it! Large eggs slid in easily with room to spare for x-lg eggs. Placed in water and boiled, pulled out and eggs when eggs were ready. Stored them in the caddy in the fridge. They found a way to put the "fun" in "functional"!

Daughter loves it! It stops her eggs from breaking.

I bought this as a gag gift. Funny thing it's cute and functional. I really like it.

Love this fun egg holder. Looks great with eggs in. Easy to put in, easy to get out. Used to have a terrible time with my old one, egg shells stuck to the side. Far better and attractive too.

Very quirky fun egg saver/boiler. Everyone comments on this cute egg saver. Looks after my eggs and decorative at the same time. Can just submerge into boiling water and remove easily by the handle six at a time washes easily ready for the next half dozen!

Not very impressed. Bought as a novelty gift for a friend. It wasn’t as robust as I thought and putting eggs in and taking them out, even very carefully caused the eggs to break and making a mess.
