Nintendo New Galaxy 3DS XL... Worth it!
I have ordered a Refurbished - Excellent: Nintendo New Galaxy 3DS XL. Through Amazon's shipping, I received this beautiful New Galaxy 3ds xl early! The system had everything with it to get started as I was provided with a charger with the system listing I had chosen through CaveGamers, and it did have the stylus. I've thoroughly inspected the New 3ds xl exterior and interior. The exterior barely any cosmetic wear whatsoever! There's not much that could've been concerning. There was maybe one or two surface level scratches on the top and bottom of the case, but you have to go out of your way to notice or feel them. No chips in the paint and I like how the Galaxy shines! As for the inside of the system, it's also in excellent condition. I tried out all of the buttons and they felt snappy as they should. There wasn't any damage or scratches on the screens or other cosmetic damage that I was able to tell. All that I needed to do was let the system charge as it was dead on arrival. I ordered a replacement battery as I know these systems and their batteries are starting to reach their end cycle. The battery currently in the system looked fine but was barely bloating so I'm upgrading with a new regardless. Either way, the new 3ds xl turned on after getting the battery to full. I was welcomed to the setup screen. The screens were working as intended too, with no dead pixels and the 3D with its tracking is reliable. Overall, the system looked like it was barely used! While I used to have the old 3DS in Red as a kid, this feels so far as a great upgrade! I am impressed with what I received and feel this is what I would've expected. I'm going to relive my childhood!

Find one you can actually look at first.
Arriving in "excellent quality" and being cracked at the bottom is entirely unacceptable. Can't hold this thing without it creaking like I dropped it on concrete. As you'll see in the video, I'm not pressing hard at all and it's horribly loud. The DS itself works great but don't trust their quality of what they say it'll arrive in. I get this is an old console and no longer in production, but I fully expected better.

Excellent product :)
I usually am worried about buying used consoles, especially online. But I was not disappointed when I bought this!🙂 I got the white 3ds xl and the touch screen, buttons, 3d effect, and everything work as it should. There are only tiny scratches around the corners, but it was expected and honestly isn’t that noticeable unless you really look up close. The screen itself has not a single scratch. Also, once I got the console out of the box I noticed it was the Japanese 3ds ll, thinking I was getting the regular 3ds xl. It made me really worried if it was region locked, but all my games work and that’s the only thing I care about lol. Overall, I definitely think it was worth the money! I grew up mostly playing regular ds games on my dsi xl, so I am excited to play games I missed out on🥰

Nearly perfect!
Seller: Base Electronics Overall, the condition of the console was great. The unit feels very sturdy, and the hinges are tight—it takes a bit of force to open and it snaps shut nicely. All buttons appear to be fully functional so far, and I haven’t run into any issues. The console I received was reshelled and still had the protective film on it. The colors look great, but it did not come with a serial number. The screens are practically flawless, although I did notice a few dust particles under the screen protector, which I hope won’t cause any issues down the line. I also noticed that some buyers received a charger with their unit, but mine did not. That may be seller-dependent, especially since this console originally did not come with a charger. Overall, I’m happy with what I received. The main downsides were the missing serial number, the dust under the screen, and a slightly misaligned shell—but it snapped into place after a small adjustment. If you’re buying a unit, this might be one of the more reasonably priced sellers. *case and screen protector were not included

I love this thing
While I’ve wanted a 3DS for years, it was hard to justify paying almost the price of a current generation console for a handheld device. Which I wasn’t even sure how much I would actually use. I would always read about games, especially RPGs, that couldn’t be played anywhere else. But finally after getting attached to my sons 3DS, I decided to get one for myself. While it was listed as refurbished ($160 i think), my device must be brand new. It didn’t have so much as a fingerprint on it, and the screens and buttons appeared untouched. My model seems to have the more favorable IPS screens that come standard in the newest ones. The image quality and 3d is amazing. Probably my favorite aspect is how tactile everything is. After a while I forget how small the viewing area is, and I’m absorbed into other worlds that I hold in my hands. Its a different experience than i could get from even the nicest TV. And I was unsure about the C stick, but after some practice I love using it in games that have a free camera. Like in Xenoblade Chronicles, for an example. I only wish that I had gotten one of these sooner, because it seems the 3DS is at the end of its life cycle. I’m trying to catch up on all of the classic role playing games I’ve missed out on, like Bravely Default, Shin Megami Tensei, and Etrian Odyssey. And a couple of my current favorite games are “Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask” and “a Link Between Worlds.” While the image quality in general can seem kind of low, games that have 3D effects change everything entirely. It’s still awe inspiring every time I move the 3d slider up, and characters and scenery suddenly become physical objects. It puts a completely different perspective on whatever I’m playing, that i can’t get from anywhere else. My only complaint about this little system is the battery life. The higher quality visuals and 3d of the New 3DS XL come with a price...if you play with the 3d cranked up, make sure there is a power source nearby. And charging times don’t seem overly long, but I’ve never timed it. Overall, if it’s in your budget and you think it might be worth it, then it probably will be. You can play everything from massive RPG worlds to classic remasters and brain teaser games to keep occupied with for just a few minutes. I also recommend the leatherette carrying case with Legend of Zelda on it. It holds several game cartridges and keeps your 3DS safe. Personally I prefer the physical games, but if you go digital it only comes with a 32 gig SD card, so you may need more storage

This company needs to be checked out for how they are labeling things.
Okay. So I’m going to give a very honest non-bias review on the New Nintendo 3Ds XL that I bought from this company. For starters, I want to make it clear that it DOES work, and the package came early. But there were some issues that seemed weird to me due to it being in “Excellent condition”. For starters, when it arrived the package was very damaged, there was a battery warning on the box, which was strange, (and you’ll see why in a second). But there was no fragile warning, which is weird, because even if I would order cheap electrics like chargers they would have a fragile warning. But anyways I thought nothing of it, because it was a box in a box, and the box with the new 3Ds xl in it had the 3Ds covered in bubble rap. But I want to make it clear it did NOT come with a charger. So I had to go buy one. Which to me is fine, but I wish they said that in the description. Then when I tried to charge it, it would not charge. So I unscrewed the shell, and lo and behold, there was NO battery. Which really didn’t make any sense because the box said there were batteries. So I had to go and get one. Which was fine for me because there is a really cool nerd store that had all the stuff I needed. But after buy an extra 30 dollars worth of stuff I finally got it working. And the New 3Ds xl works fine other then two small issue that other people seem to be facing, 1st The 3d on the 3Ds did NOT work, I would turn it on and it would just be VERY blurry. So I did my research and most of the articles I read said that it could be due to a screen being changed. Or something about a “optical”. So that’s something you should keep in mind. 2nd. I purchased the galaxy model and The shell was not fitting very snugly. Which again is a small thing, but for the amount that I’m paying and the “Excellent condition” label was very false. So I was kind of not happy about that All in all it works but, if you are reading this and are thinking of buying one then you need to be aware, that Nintendo does NOT make these anymore and most places well not work on them. So a lot of the maintenance and fixing has to be on you. And there are some good discord groups and chats you can join to ask questions on how to fix it. But the 3D not working is a small problem, but a very very difficult fix. So, if you can order from Nintendo or go a store and see it physically then that’s your best bet.

Overpriced and 3D feature never works after 3 replacements
Severely overpriced for the quality that you get. I been though 3 replacements with this company and every single one had issues. 1st system had debris stuck in the screen so I always had something in the way of viewing 2nd system the hinges completely went out on me a few weeks after replacing the 1st And last the one I have now the paint is starting to warp and chip On top of everything the 3D feature did not work on ANY of them at all which is the whole point of a 3DS! Price should be drop to 150 for what they offer. Oh and finally none of the serial numbers are legit. I checked them on Nintendo official site and always said serial number is not a registered Nintendo device. Funny enough my final replacement didn’t even come with a serial number. They just took off the sticker and sent it out.

Charger dead, minor defects, it's ok
Only issue is the bottom of the touch pad doesn't work, and the down button on the dpad doesn't work 100% of the time, and the charger sent with it doesn't function at all. Overall the quality is pretty good, definitely a bit to pricy, battery seems fine, just need a new charger.
