Couldn't "Bee" happier!!!!
This sweet Mason Bee house is absolutely PERFECT! The construction is stellar, very well made! My husband is a General Contractor and Master Craftsman and when he says, it's well made.....you know it can't get any better! I followed the instructions and hung it up facing towards the East. It had direct sunlight as soon as the sun came up this morning. We live above 4,200' in the Sierras and I had trouble with getting my lemons to set due to lack of sufficient pollinators. At a friend's suggestion, I purchased this adorable Mason Bee house. She assured me that once the bees find my local and see that there is plenty of flowers to keep them happy, I won't have any future problems. It may be to late in the season to encourage anyone to take up residence, but come February I will order some Mason Bee eggs to populate the house and once they hatch, they will return to lay their eggs the following season. So excited to watch the process! I will also be ordering a butterfly house from this supplier as well....just can't have too many pollinators!

A good sanctuary for our bee visitors
This has enough variety of sizes to allow many different species of bee to use it. I had only two problems: some of the bamboo tubes were loose enough to fall out in transit (but were easily reinserted and glued in place), and some were cut so that the internal divisions were very close to the entrance, so the tubes had limited effective length. But that didn't seem to worry the bees!

It actually worked!
I was apprehensive about this product at first. I have a few fruit trees but lack pollinators. I hung this on my avocado tree and thought it was useless until one day I actually saw a bee going inside. I looked closer and multiple bees had made it their home. I see bees on my trees now when I didn’t before.

Bee House was for my grandson. He loves it.
Exactly as described. Ok

Attractive and looks sturdy
Arrived on time, looked like the picture and apparently is well made. Too early to know if it will attract wood boring bees as the early spring emerging bees have found/made homes by now and the next generation has not yet shown its face.

cute and easy to hang.
My bee house has been hanging for a month now and I just noticed the evidence of a bee housing in the house. I know it doesn't sound like a lot, but as I live in a surburban area with lots of homes and not many flowers, I am encouraged that more will come.

No bees live in it.
I thought this was very attractive and we were looking for a solution to our wood boring bees in our shed so we hung it near the shed and no bees have moved in moved in months later. That's not the manufacturer's fault but but it was recommended as a solution a solution for Wood boring bees.

They are very lovely. Not big but just a good size to move around easy. It looks really well made and not as cheap as other hotel I've seen. Looks like there is a nice protectant for the wood too on it. Save the Bees!!!

I ordered this house and promptly returned it. While beautiful and structurally sound, you cannot remove the back or remove the cocoons in the fall. Within a few seasons, of not being able to remove pests or dead bees, this house will be avoided by your locals anyways. The only way to make this work would be to insert paper tubes into the bamboo, but even that might be difficult because they are not all the same size.
