Anwenk Heavy Duty Nutcracker Pecan Walnut Plier Opener Tool with Wood Handle

When I first received this nutcracker, I looked at it and thought there was no way it was going to crack the pecans I had. Not because my pecans are small—it’s just that this nutcracker looks huge. I liked the wooden handle and the substantial look of the cracking portion, and it has a good weight to it, but I honestly didn’t think it would work as well as it does. I was wrong. I put a pecan in and it cracked it perfectly, right down to the actual nut. I was really impressed because I expected to have to do a lot more work, like with pistachios or other nuts that take more effort to shell. This cracked it cleanly and easily, and I could see the whole piece of pecan inside. I highly recommend this nutcracker. It looks great, has a solid weight, and works perfectly for my needs.

This nutcracker is amazing. It can crack all sizes of nuts from almonds to walnuts. It doesn't matter if the shell is especially hard, it cracks it as if they were paper thin. I highly recommend this if you love fresh nuts.

So far so good! Easy to use , not heavy , not very sharp , sometimes doesnot crack nut at once, I have to crack it 2 times or more to get the nuts out ! But still ok with the price offered !

I used this Anwenk heavy-duty nutcracker to crack about 8 cups of pecans in roughly 20 minutes, and it worked great. The plier-style design gives you excellent leverage, so the shells break cleanly without completely crushing the nut inside. The wood handle feels sturdy and comfortable, even after extended use. There are no instructions included, so it took a few pecans to figure out the best method. What worked for me was placing the nut vertically, cracking it, then flipping it out and placing it inverted with the other end down. Once I got the hang of that, it was fast and efficient. 2nd Review: The first time I bought this nutcracker I thought it was marvelous probably because I had only ever used the standard type. That said, about three months later, one of the wood handle covers began to slip off. It was too late to return it and not the end of the world. Fast forward to a few months ago, the springs totally broke down so I decided to purchase a new one. Within a few weeks both handles not only began to slip but keep coming totally off. I've been dealing with a lot of personal stuff and kept forgetting to deal with and when I finally checked on return/replace, the window had closed on the 24th of May. Needless, to say, I rescind my praises for this item and unfortunately will have to purchase something else! 1st Review: I buy a lot of nuts and have always used the standard nut crackers - which means sometimes cracking them to the point of smithereens OR as they pointed out, having the nut fly right out of the grip and into to the air. For some reason this item caught my eye and I thought I'd give it a try. Other than the color of the handles, I love it and it works really great. I've used it with walnuts, pecans, and hazelnuts so far, and it works really well. Sometimes there is a bit of maneuvering to get the nut in the right place - but this is obviously due to differences in shape and size.

What separates humans from animals is the extensive use of tools, and boy this is the right tool for the job. I think even a person with the weakest grip could successfully crack nuts with this.

The product is very bad quality and super fragile! It’s already broken!

I bought this nut cracker because with my old nut cracker it was not good when trying to break the Almonds. This one is great no problems with cracking the shells on the Almonds. What I also found with this nut cracker is you get a lot less of the shells shooting out everywhere.
