Great product and great price!! Easy to apply and works as described. Follow the directions to make sure the adhesive takes. I applied this to a brand new grill so it stuck very well and is still sticking through a lot of cooks. However, I gave the excess to my brother in law who used it on his 10 year old grill and it worked like a charm. Keeps more smoke in your grill and gives you better temp control. Take your time to do it right and you will have no complaints.

Does what it does, easy enough and does it well. I don't think it even took five minutes to install. Holding up great so far.will definitely be buying more for other projects. If it will keep the smoke in , I'm thinking should work great for keeping the odors out on a budget diy hunting clothes box.oh, customer service is especially polite and helpful at fire black too, give it a try, you won't be disappointed

Let it have some time in warm weather to seal. Otherwise, it can peel off when you open the cook chamber.

We have a Masterbuilt Smoker that was constantly a struggle to maintain temperature and smoke billowed out around the doors. Even though the packaging states it's a Big Green Egg Gasket Kit, this product was the exact width we needed to work for our Masterbuilt smoker. I applied this around the perimeter of both doors and still have a good bit left on the roll. Do read the instructions included with the roll. There's a couple of good tips on how to easily remove the backing and to not stretch the material as you apply it. I also thoroughly cleaned the surface area around the door with denatured alcohol before applying the self stick Nomex. At this point, I'm in the 12-24 hour wait mode (also suggested in the instructions) before firing up the smoker. I fastened the doors after the application and it looks this product is going to be the ticket for improved performance and better temp/smoke control.

Took 30 min or so to clean the smoke off the lid (91% isopropanol), but after that the tape stuck well. Seals the lid very well... no smoke leaking from lid now, even when the wind blows. I used short sections of this gasket on the edges of the Traeger folding shelf--where the shelf hits the legs when folded down.

The material is adequate and makes a nice seal. However, the sticky tape is not very sticky. I cleaned the surface very well before applying, but it seems to have barely stuck. I lit my grill and ran it up to 600 degrees hoping that this would melt the glue a little and get it to stick.

Once you clean off the old gasket, this one went on flawlessly.
