LiteXpress LXB525 2 Mode LED Upgrade Module 525 or 55 Lumen for 3-6 C/D Cell Maglite Torches

Got this product to upgrade my new xenon 4D maglite. There seem to be 3 main variants of LED upgrade, & I chose this one for the option to have a dim beam when required which works easily & is very useful. Takes 2 min to install. Absolutely fantastic. Massive upgrade from the xenon. In terms of light clarity, you still get the hot spot or dark patch in the middle (depending where you twist the reflector) but this is a problem/feature of the maglite reflector not the LED upgrade. We get spoiled with torches these days & for a few quid we get immensely powerful beams. The maglite is expensive & has always been lacking on the main function - no more with this upgrade. There are times when a small hand torch will do, & sometimes when it feels better to have a big lump of maglite in your hand, but previously at the expense of actually being able to see. Not with this. Money well spent.

Replacement bulb arrived quickly and safe and sound. Easy to fit into torch - 5 minutes, maybe less. Works a treat and definitely much brighter than the old (original) bulb. Well pleased and happy to recommend 👍🏻

Super easy to replace. It is much brighter than the original Xenon bulb. Unscrew the end of the torch. Unscrew the bulb retaining ring. Replace old bulb with new LED bulb. Install the replacement retaining ring that comes with the LED. Screw back on the end of the torch. The low brightness mode is triggered by quickly half pressing the button then pressing it again fully.

This bulb is so bright that its almost like you are holding a dying sun in your hand. Just don't look directly into the light, otherwise you'll be seeing starts (ask me how i know....)

Bought this to replace the "candle like" bulb in my 3 "D"cell Maglite, can only say, wish I'd done it years ago! It's turned my ageing dim torch into something that matches any modern led torch! Changed a dated maglite into new led torch!!!

Bought this to upgrade the efficiency of a 20 year old premium branded Maglite. Not inexpensive but the advantages over the original bulb are considerable - much brighter and longer battery life.

It fit into the torch perfectly with the new retaining collar. Even on the lowest of the two settings it is still brighter than the white star bulb it replaced
