The size is true with a twin bed. The thickness is what a comforter should be, but it’s not a heavy one. It’s a light material. My granddaughter loves it. It’s very breathable. My granddaughter usually puts part of it over her head and it’s very breathable. And we both love the color.

Very soft, very cute, as pictured! Sightly too big for my sons twin sized bed but hes in love with it and if it cost less, I'd buy his brother one too (who also loves it! Ages 2,4). The one thing worth mentioning is it is absolutely not a summer comforter. Its quite thick, which isnt necessarily a bad thing, but moreso than most comforters. The material just isnt breathable.
