I don't keep a beard, so I rub the beard butter on my face for one minute before shaving. It's amazing how easy, smooth and close the shave is after the application. A good product, even for those who don't have a beard. Maybe the company should market it as "Beard Butter & Pre-shave Hair Softener".

Not much helped for my beard.

This beard balm has the perfect viscosity and the right stiffness so as to keep the beard in shape through the day. Easy to wash and no smells or flakinness.

Product ingredients mentioned on product page is wrong! It does not have candelilla wax as mentioned on the original product packaging I received! There is no mention of the wax. So it is not a beard balm unlike what they have stated on website. It is beard butter and is mentioned on packaging. Avoid unless you want to buy a beard butter.

The butter as name says gives simply amazing feel to the beard with very mild fragrance which I personally like Rather than those harsh intense ones. It makes beard n hair feel softer and I recalled that old Livon hair oil feel with one major exception is this is SLS n Paraben free with good ingredients. Overall 9/10

I did not find it effective

2 days of usage. One doesn't need months or years to determine this sort of product. I've noticed that cream keeps my beard and moustache soft to touch for a long time. I've applied it in the morning, gone about my day, slept and woken up in the morning to wash my face and still felt the softness instead of the bristle feeling one gets, especially during winter. It also helps in styling as you can see in my photo. Go for it.
