Since I installed a perspex Covid partition in my taxi I found it hard to hear customers (am a bit deaf anyway!). Now I can! Very cheap feeling on build quality, but as it doesn't get moved from where it is fixed in the taxi (and I have mounted on rubber to cut down on vibrations) I am hoping that quality good enough to last a year (or 2?!) of constant use. Had it around 6 weeks now. The only "issue" is it picks up interference when driving past certain locations, but only briefly and the plus is it reminds me it is still switched on! (Its usually permanently plugged in via a USB point so when the engine is on it is charging).....but not enough of an issue for me to bother trying to find a solution! For "2 way" communication with the customers I just talk loudly! and use hand signals! I would put another one in the back for customers to hear from but wayyyy too lightweight to let taxi customers anywhere near it! (Not a design fault!). UPDATE: I have now bought a 2nd one so I can do 2 way communication with my taxi passengers (the 2 are NOT linked) as I found somewhere in the taxi to locate it where customers can't get at it! I have also upgraded (replaced the microphone) with a versions that are designed to be used by a small group of people at distance for meetings via Zoom etc - just so my customers don't have to speak directly into the original microphone (not a design fault - I am just using this item for a different reason it was designed for. Detailed review in case another taxi driver looking to do the same). 2nd Update! Now around 18 months of use in my Taxi. Zero problems.

Simple to use. Rechargeable. Good adjustable sound. Works well to hold yoga classes so that folks at the back can hear instructions. Wired not Bluetooth so be aware of this before you buy.

This is quite good quality for the price range. Pros: It’s extremely useful and versatile, being portable with both a clip on the back of the speaker to attach it to a belt, and an attachable strap so you could wear the speaker that way, as well as the speaker being wireless and chargeable. (The mic is wired to the speaker though). It’s easy to use and as far as I’ve tested has a decent battery life before it needs charging. On the lower volumes, the sound quality is good. Also, the microphone being worn around the head is extremely useful and comfortable for long-time wear, keeping your hands free and the mic the perfect distance from your mouth. (The mic is adjustable so you can move it to the perfect position for you and then it will stay). It looks sleek and professional and is fit for purpose. Cons: However, if you turn the mic volume up to the higher end of the range, it can sound tinny, static-y, and you can get a lot of feedback. Likewise, due to the length of the mic wire, you can get mic feedback, but this can be lessened by speaking a bit softer, having the volume a bit lower, or having the speaker as far from the mic as possible. (Such as on a table directly in front of you). Overall, this is a very good mic and speaker for the price and works for its purpose, even though the microphone and speaker quality could be a bit better ideally. (For this price range, it is ok though).

Great sound

Really great product for the price versatile sound quality not the best but serves its purpose really well. Bought it for quiet children who could be heard the mic picks everything up and amplifies their voice brilliant

Visually, the product looks nice and compact. Functionally, it doesn't do the main thing they state in the product title - "Mini Voice Amplifier". There is barely any amplification. On max volume, my own voice is louder to those around me than the "amplifier" output. Very disappointed!

Easy to use and works very well

I bought this little microphone during Covid. A group of us were playing and singing outdoors, six feet separating everyone, and I needed the extra volume. At first I was hesitant, but a friend encouraged me to go ahead. Since then I have gained a lot of confidence, just from being able to hear myself and get enough volume without straining my voice, and am now singing lead in four groups. The "harness" doesn't fit over my head or ears, but I find that just putting it around my neck works really well and allows room to adjust the distance of the microphone to my mouth. I can also turn my head away from the microphone if I want to. I use it three times a week at least. Charge it up at home, and that is also a plus, that I can just hook the little speaker onto my music stand and don't need any power cables. The cord is long enough to reach me from there. Hooking the speaker onto my pants pocket didn't work too well the one time I tried it, but could probably be done with a bit more persistence.

When I connects the mic's wire to the speaker, the speaker howls very loudly.
