Akasa TIM Wipes

They do the job well.

Did the job intended: remove thermal paste from CPU when upgrading AIO. Was able to remove all the paste with just a couple of wipes, very easy. Sheet is a good size, more than adequate.

I previously used Arctic Silver ArctiClean which I was very happy with but I ran out of the thermal paste remover while still having plenty of the surface purifier left and so I didn't want to buy another to get only 30ml of paste remover. Akasa Tim Clean comes in 125ml, so it's more than four times more thermal paste remover than ArctiClean for the same price, though the ArctiClean does come with 30ml surface purifier too. In terms of it's cleaning power I don't think it's quite as good as ArctiClean as I found myself having to use more of it than I would of ArctiClean and it seems to take take a little bit longer to get the paste off but it still gets the job done just the same. The one real weakness in this product is the dispenser, as it lets out liquid far too freely for my liking. It seems to be a similar kind of dispenser to some face cleansers, the type you just tip up and a little stream of liquid flows out. The instructions do say to apply the cleaner to a cloth but I've always found it works better to apply the cleaner directly to the surface to start off with. Luckily I still had my old ArctiClean bottle, which has a dispenser like an eye dropper, so I just filled it up with Akasa's cleaner and used that instead. So overall Akasa Tim Clean may not be quite as good as ArctiClean but it is still much better value.

I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. Not only did the product arrive 4 days early but the product itself is superb. It cleaned off my old thermal paste really well and even had a pleasant smell. After suffering a number of CPU and GPU crashes cutouts and issues, I was able to clean off the old paste really easily and really well leaving a perfect state to apply new thermal paste. Now everything works perfectly. Great seller and great product. Very happy indeed.

I had problems recently with my AMD Phenom II 955 CPU rising up to temperatures of 65 degrees when I was running software, and it was still running at about 55 when idle. It started re-booting when the processor was taxed, and I knew I had a problem. I had changed the CPU fan myself some months ago, and stupidly just shoved the heatsink on with the existing paste that was left on CPU. After getting this product, I cleaned the top of the CPU, I spread a THIN film over the whole of the processor, then re-fitted the CPU cooler. Now, the CPU temp is at 35 - 40 degrees running idle, and goes up to about 50 max when running an intensive application. Great product, certainly worked a treat for me!

I've been using this product for around 1 and a half years now, and it has been useful countless times. It is a decent capacity, and you only need to use a very small amount at a time to clean thermal paste off a CPU. It's also an excellent price. Most importantly, it works very well for getting rid of thermal paste. And unlike many other thermal paste removers, it has quite a pleasant smell to it. I still have around two thirds of my bottle left, so I don't think I'll need to replace it any time soon. But when I do, I'll be purchasing another one of these. :)

After researching how best to clean thermal paste off a CPU and realising that the preferred substance is hard to get hold of in the UK I researched alternatives. One that came up consistently is Akasa TIM Clean, and though I've only used it once it certainly did make my job a lot easier. Be warned, as a solvent this stuff spreads everywhere rapidly and the list of precautions on the bottle are slightly off-putting. I would recommend you have disposable gloves on when using it to be safe and be very careful when pouring it. Additionally, I found it spreads so easily it tends to drip and spread down the side of the bottle, so I've taken to wrapping the bottle in a plastic bag to avoid it getting everywhere. I was somewhat taken aback by the strong citrus smell.

Brilliant at removing old thermal paste, and handy being in a single wipe. Makes life easier than having bottles and separate cloths to get rid of old TIM.

Cumple su cometido, he usado Articlean antes pero se me gasto y vi que este tenia 125ml que dan para mucho pero cuesta el doble en otros sitos y aqui lo tienen a buen precio, el envio fue rapido un dia antes de lo previsto en la fecha estimada de entrega. La pega es que no lleva dosificador y puede derramarse con facilidad pero se puede reutilizar los botes de ArtiClean y rellenarlos con el Akasa Cleaner porque es un tapon que se quita facilmente y no es de rosca, limpia muy buen incluso el adhesivo de los thermal pads.

Sehr gutes Kit. Ich habe das Kit für meinen PC CPU mit Wakü und meine Ps4 CPU benutzt und bin sehr zufrieden. Die alte Wärmeleitpaste ließ sich sehr einfach entfernen. Wichtig ist hier auch nochmal kurz zu warten und nach ein oder zwei Minuten nochmal drüber wischen, um auch die letzten Reste zu entfernen. Auftragen ließ sich die mitgelieferte WLP auch sehr gut.

Bin mit diesem Reiniger absolut zufrieden. Damit ist einfacher zu reinigen als mit Alkohol.Schmiert nicht um einander,riecht sehr angenehm.und tut was man davon erwartet. Viel bessere Reinigungswirkung als von den Tücher die manchmal mit der Wärmeleitpaste im Pack verkauft werden. Einfach Klasse!!!
