Excellent Product, Great Results, Videos Online are Terribly Misleading. This is EASY to use!
Having owned and used this product for approximately one month now I feel adequately equipped to render a fair and equitable review. I hope it is helpful to you. First, My intent was to use this product as sinus infection protection as well as a regular prophylactic against allergy attacks. Before purchasing the Navage I scoured the interweb to determine what the word on the byte was. YouTube searches returned what could only be called as silly self serving "reviews" from people seeking to do something that 'went viral.' The fact of the matter is, they were an utter and complete waste of time. Ultimately, what you find are videos of people misusing the product without ever making an attempt to read the simple instructions or perhaps they ignored them altogether for comedic effect? Either way, the instructions could not be more clearly written. The other bevvy of reviews and videos were focusing on the expense of the salt pods as well as a myriad of videos teaching the potential Navage user ways to defeat the requirement for new salt pods from Navage because of the perception that the salt pods from Navage are prohibitively expensive. First, they aren't expensive when purchased in larger quantities. Second, they are extremely efficient and they provide a repeatable and predictable result. Third, do you really want to usurp the engineering and design of a product that you hold up to your nose to irrigate your sinuses? For pete's sake (I don't know if Pete has a Navage or not) but just suck it up and buy the deluxe bundle and get the stand, the case, and the pile of salt pods that come with that bundle. It will work better and easier than you can ever imagine if you use the product as designed. Now, I have actually talked on the telephone while using the Navage.... Nooooo problem. People pretending to use and review the Navage act like little children, the poorly behaved kind that whine about everything and everything and have to have a "Safe Space" to retreat to if someone doesn't handle them with kid gloves. Again with Pete's sake, this unit is super easy to use! Very effective, and very well designed. In other words, it works very well. Why did I buy the Navage with so many other products on the market that do similar things at a lower price? I have a serious head injury and I cannot bend over and turn my head to the side. I needed something I could use standing straight up. The Navage is exactly that. I am a doctor, but not THAT kind of doctor, but I can tell you, I would buy this product again today and be very glad of it. I hope this review helps you make your decision one way or another.

Effective and Easy To Use
I couldn't sleep the night before last because of plugged sinuses and having to breath through my mouth. Despite skepticism, I was willing to try something, anything, including a nasal irrigator. After doing a bit of research, I landed on the Navage system and ordered it. If you carefully read and follow the simple instructions, the product is very easy to use - and very effective. My sinuses were instantly clearer, and I could breathe again through my nose! And I slept great last night. I can see this product being very helpful in certain circumstances such as my situation this weekend, and couldn't recommend it more highly. I saw some videos of people having a hard time using the unit, some of them were over-the-top making crazy faces, with saline water going everywhere. This couldn't be further from the truth if you simply follow the easy-to-follow instructions. A couple of tips that are in the instructions but bear repeating: - Once you have the suction going, back off on the pressure of the unit against your nostrils to get better flow. I had a tendency the first time to press too hard to maintain the seal. Only gentle pressure is needed. Pressing too hard will restrict the flow. -Put the warm water in FIRST, then the pod. It is the only logical order, but if you put the pod in first, then try to add the water, the button to start the water flow will not work. -The Nasal Dock with the nose pillows can easily be twisted in a circle to reverse the direction of the flow of saline between nostrils. -The whole unit, including both tanks, come apart easily for cleaning. Simply twist the tanks gently in the direction shown on the tanks. Happy breathing!

Works AMAZING! Easy to use, easy to clean, well-made!
This product is PHENOMENAL! I suffer from seasonal allergies. This season has been exceptionally uncomfortable. I have been using this device for a week now. It has helped clear my sinuses in ways I never thought possible. Wish I had this sooner. Don't hesitate to purchase this. It's a great investment in feeling better and healthier!!

Works Well once you get used to it
I've used manual squeeze nasal irrigation bottles for years. I struggled to get a regular Neti pot to work and I had a bit of a problem with getting this adjusted, too. But I just got it recently and I probably will get better at it. It does work well and gives a thorough washing. I got the caddy with mine. I'm not as positive on it. I assumed (yes, my fault!) that it was for drying. It stores all the components with openings on the top, so they don't drain well after washing. I guess it works well as a cady, but once everything is dry, I just reassemble the Navage. The caddy now holds a lonley place on the top shelf in my closet.

Instant Relief
The unit not only supplies saline water in one nose but also removes the saline from within the nasal cavity to fully rinse the sinus area. The nose piece can be rotated in an effort to reverse the flow of saline water. I heat distilled water for 30 seconds in the microwave prior to adding the solution to the supplied saline cartridge. I am always amazed at how much garbage is taken away from the process. I get nice relief for the start of my day. I also use the unit at the end of the day which provides me with nighttime relief so that I can sleep. I think that this is an awesome product and is superior to the other units which only allows for saline to be inserted in only one nostril without the ability to remove the saline. I find it easy to use and I am really satisfied with the purchase.

Things you should know
I was definitely skeptical about buying this product, but as someone that has allergies, I had to try it. I was also happy to see it on my doorstep 2 days earlier than it was supposed to be delivered. I immediately opened the box, quickly looked through the instructions and began using it. As someone who has never once used a netipot or anything similar, I was nervous. Luckily, it is fairly easy to use! About a week after using it once a day I started having some issues where the suction was no longer working properly and the entire machine wasn't working. I did not take any stars off of my review for this because I called Navage customer service and they not only sent me a new machine and a label to send back my defective device, they paid for everything involved with the exchange(new machine and shipping both ways). As I am not someone who uses this every morning and night, this was not a problem for me. Things you need to know: 1. MUST use distilled or sterile water with this device(This is not something only with Navage, this is something due to the fact you are putting that water in your nose and tap water can have bacteria which can cause an infection if it gets stuck in your nose.) 2. In order for the water to not go down the back of your throat you must create the "closed system" as Navage calls it. When you put it in your nose, push it kind of hard to your face.(You will know you are pushing hard enough if you talk and your voice sounds funny.) Then push the button in halfway for the suction(but not the water) to begin. This will create sort of a vacuum in your nose. Once this vacuum is created, the device will start to make a slightly different pitched sound. This means you are ready to start the water. The vacuum is slightly uncomfortable, but once you start the water the discomfort goes away. 3. If you do not wait for the sound of the device to change, the salt water WILL go down your throat. That is when panic begins because it kind of feels like you are drowning. 4. The water should flow through quickly unless you are very congested. If it doesn't you are doing something wrong. 5. Be sure not to open the crusher before you use the device. For some reason if you load the SaltPod and then open the crusher before the water has flowed through, the device will not run and you will have to start over and use a completely different SaltPod. Trust me, it crushed it. 6. Be sure to rinse the few areas described in the instructions before and after each use. The salt drying on certain parts can ruin the machine.

Works Really Well!
It takes a bit of time to get familiar with this nasal irrigation system and I recommend watching a few short videos on You Tube to get accustomed to the different parts and how it works. Easy to use and cleans out sinus great! So glad it comes with the storage rack to keep it all in one place and it also acts as a drying rack for the pieces. I use this in the morning and again in the evening.

Effective, Easy-to-Use, High-Quality Build
This nasal irrigation system is different from others in that it makes use of a small electric motor to generate suction, rather than just draining water by hand into the nose. The device has two protruding nasal implements: each goes in one nostril. When the device is filled with salt water, you simply press the button, and the device quietly and gently introduces the saline rinse into one nostril and pulls out the rinse from the other nostril. The pulled liquid out goes into a receiving tank at the bottom so that, once you get the nack of it, there is no dripping, mess, or anything. You simply detach the bottom tank when finished, dump it out, rinse it, and then reattach it to the device. Total time to rinse is about 10-20 seconds, depending on various factors. There's an awful lot to like about this device. Let me list these here to make them easier to read: ++ EXTREMELY high-quality build - every part of this unit screams quality. The device is solid, sturdy, and attractive. Pieces fit together with great precision. ++ Functional operation is impressive - the device is quiet, yet you can easily feel the pull and push on the two nostril pipes, and the whole process makes no mess whatsoever once you get the hang of it (important to read the instructions all the way through before using it; it's simple, but there are things you need to know before starting out to make everything work smoothly). ++ The process is easy - you fill the top with distilled or previously-boiled water, insert a new salt pack, close the lid, insert the two tubes into the nostrils, and press the button until all the water has passed through. ++ You can rotate the nostril tubes to easily change the direction of flow (i.e., which nostril receives the water, and which drains the water). ++ No mess - as I say, once you get the hang of it, you can do this whole process with no mess whatsoever, and without dripping water onto the counter. ++ Parts come apart for cleaning - a rubber gasket is used to seal parts within the water path through the unit, but parts still attach and detach easily. In addition, most parts come off with a twisting motion, which makes the process even easier. These same parts reassuringly click back into place during reattachment. ++ A case to carry the device on trips is available, as is a stand that can stay on your bathroom counter to hold the device - my purchase was of the kit that included both of these, and I'm glad I got them. These "extras" are also of a high-quality build. ++ Pre-measured salt packets make it unlikely you will use too much or too little salt - the salt used is sea salt, and goes through a fairly rigorous filtering process that the manufacturer claims makes it the purest salt source available. It might be true. Now, there is one downside to this, at least potentially. I say "potentially" because, for some people (like me) it is not a downside, because this factor is what makes the entire device so easy and automatic. But others will understandably object to it. And that is, this device uses the "Hewlett Packard" or "Canon" business model. Meaning, you pay nothing for the printer, but have to pay a small fortune for the printer cartridges. If you remember I mentioned about the salt packets that this device uses: those salt packets are made by the manufacturer, can be used only once per rinse, and the device will not work without them. So, what you are paying for to get this ultimate convenience (and it truly is just that, along with a superior quality build) is that you are committing to purchasing these packets from this point out. The salt packets are actually in liquid form, encased in a specially shaped, foil-topped packet that precisely fits into the irrigator. When you place it in and then shut the door over the top of it, the foil is pierced, and the saline solution mixes with the purified water you loaded into the unit. You give it just a couple of gentle shakes, and you are ready to go. So, I fully understand frustrations with that. I also recognize that this is the very thing that gives the convenience, speed, and lack of mess that makes this product so attractive. I have been thinking about nasal irrigation to help my sinuses for years, but have resisted it because of the mess and effort involved in mixing, pouring, etc. This device addresses them all, and makes it a real winner in my book. In this case, you truly DO get what you pay for. Nasal irrigation can be very helpful for nasal problems, and you can see that in the endless reviews from people of all stripes. Sometimes it takes a week or two of consistent use to see the best results (this is because everyone has a different level and thickness of build-up, etc. in their sinuses). Note, too, that none of these devices are for SINUS irrigation (sinuses are the cavities above your eyes, beneath your eyebrows, and extend a bit under the forehead), but rather for NASAL irrigiation. However, drainage from the sinus cavities can often become blocked so that the sinuses stay filled with mucus. This device MAY help in unclogging, over time, those drainage canals, allowing sinus drainage to be restored. So, this device technically does not rinse sinuses (only nasal cavities), but it MAY help with sinus problems over time. Remember, salt is a disinfectant. So, when you rinse with a salt-based fluid like this, you are helping kill off germs, bacteria, and so on. Don't expect miracle, overnight cures. But with constant use over time, this device can help clean out the nasal cavities and really help with congestion and all its associated problems. I can't help but give this my highest recommendation, but with the caveat you have to be willing to purchase the salt packs to use it. I was shocked at the extremely high-quality build of the unit the minute I opened the box, and the functional design is great, too. A fantastic product.
