I wanted a small knife for EDC. In my state anything over a 4inch blade is not legal. This blade falls just short of 4inches, so legally I can carry it. This Wolf knife is a beautiful work of art. The full tang blade is created by one solid piece of metal. You can really get a sense of what they done to make this blade. There are no welds to break and this knife is very thick and solid. I have xlarge hands and it feels like it was made for me. The thumb rest, very thick and solid no worries there. The material they used for the grip is done with attention to how your hands hold things. There are finger groves that actually work. Very firm grip, non slip and again, the workmanship is outstanding. This knife holds a sharp blade. There are two distinct areas on this blade. The flat side, and the curved. Each area on this blade is hand sharpened, ( you can tell) and again thick. I cut some paracord, went through like butter. I trimmed up a branch, no problem. The knife itself is heavy. I was not expecting that. For the price I was expecting something thin and flimsy. Not the case with the Wolf. The weight of the knife feels good, not overweight and not lite. Again the design team did one he'll of a job to give you all this knife for the money. The flap button holding your knife in the sheath is very questionable. It snapped so tight that I'm concerned about the button will pop off. The sheath itself is great. It's been stitched together nicely and has a few mollie system attachments not to mention the paracord leg strap if you need it. The sheath also has a very small pocket on the outside with velcro to hold in whatever you decide to carry on your knife. It's very strong, full tang construction made from one solid piece of metal, sharp out the box, has a hearty weight, feels like it was made for your hands, glass - breaker, bottle opener and in a 30 dollar price point. My friend saw it and liked it so I will probably get him one

This is my second Ned Foss knife.. I loved the first one so much that I bought this one to leave at work on my tool belt. I used mine for cutting deployed airbags which is a very tough thick fabric that destroys razor blades.. I wear a XXL glove and the handle is smaller than I would like but it came shaving sharp brand new and the handle has excellent grooves and cutouts and the blade has a solid jimp for my thumb to rest on.. excellent tool. I highly recommend as someone that uses this knife daily for work.

I really hate the sheath. I'd love an optional leather sheath for this knife if they would sell it. But the knife is strong and made well. Not keen on the bottle opener it gets stuck putting it back in. I like to reholster with one hand not two.

Take it with me hiking and home protection! Made very well

Exactly what I was hoping for. Often times you purchase something and the item isn't what you expect based off pictures and descriptions. This knife, however, is everything that they describe.

I've got several camping and hunting knives this knife is simply badass.

The knife fits my hand well and I really like the weight. Feels balanced. And it looks awesome. I've been using it for about a week and on the 4th day of wearing it the clasp on the sheath broke when I was opening it. The button just snapped off.
