We bought this duvet insert in December of '22, and have used it about 6 months of the year each year since. We have a queen sized bed, and this is sized to cover it correctly. I was very specifically looking for something lightweight, because my husband is a very hot sleeper. Late spring through summer we switch to a thin quilt, and then back to this as soon as the weather cools down. This insert works well for both of us. It keeps us warm, while being breathable enough that hubby doesn't overheat/sweat. I keep an extra blanket to pull over my side of the bed because I run a lot cooler than hubs does. We have an all cotton duvet cover that goes over this. The little tabs on the corners of the insert make it a breeze to tie into the cover and have it stay flat inside it. It has washed really well - I usually wash it only a few times a season, when it comes out of storage (in a fabric case in the linen closet) and then at the end of the season when we're done with it, and in-between if there's a need. Because we have a cover on it that we remove and wash regularly, the insert itself stays pretty clean. It's held up great to a hot wash and dry, still looks very new. This is exactly the thin and lightweight duvet we needed. I'd definitely recommend it to anybody looking for something warm and breathable for a hot-sleeper.

This is the 2nd one of these that I have bought. The first one is over 5 yrs old and still perfect. It's been washed, using bleach every month, and it is still so soft and fluffy. No pilling, no clumping, just like new! Very lightweight, but warm enough to use by itself for us during our NY winters. I got a back up to be sure that I would be able to replace with the same exact one. It's exactly the same as the 5 yr old one. I love it! Quality product, thank you!

Probably going to be great for most but as a hot sleeper it made me sweat. Unfortunate as its very soft and plush.

I live on the coast in southern California so it does not get very cold here, if at all. Plus I run hot at night and in general. So I was looking for a lightweight, breathable duvet. I usually use a lightweight fuzzy blanket because duvets in the past have been heavy or too watm. But I wanted to try to see if I could find something that would work because I love the fluffy/airy feeling of duvets. This duvet definitely fit the bill. I combined it with a 100% cotton duvet cover and my bed is so comfortable now. I'm warm at night but I don't get overheated or sweat like other duvets are like to do. It's very well made with quality stitching. The cotton cover definitely helps with breathability when combined with my cotton duvet cover. Size wise it goes well with my queen bed as you can see from the picture. I threw it in the dryer on low for 30 minutes when I first took it out of the packaging to fluff it up and that worked perfectly.

I sleep well and better with cotton mattress cover around my mattress. I bought another one for my kids bed. Great quality for the price. I fits well and just enough thickness from what I needed.

I would give it 5 stars for allergy free. I am allergic to everything including down feathers. But I thought it would be thicker then what it is.

Love this blanket! It's huge and lasts forever! Have had mine for over a year and still is like brand new! Super comfortable!
