LED Closet Lights Under Cabinet Lighting, 21 LED Battery Operated Lights | Motion Sensor Light | Cabinet Light Stick On Lights Kitchen Lights Wireless Night Light for Bar,Wardrobe,Stair - 3 Pack

I purchased a gun safe which came with a motion activated LED strip similar to these, but wasn't enough to illuminate both sides of the safe & top shelf. I bought these thinking I'd just add a couple more and it worked out great. The one included with the safe attached with velcro to the felt lining of the safe-- so I had to apply velcro to the back of the magnet holder to mount these. It worked okay, but not as secure as I would like (due to the magnetic holder being so small compared to the light strip), but so far is doing the job. Motion sensing is accurate, any movement of the door of the safe and/or transition from dark to light will cause it to turn on-- exactly what I wanted. Turns off if no motion is detected within about 30 seconds or so. If you're still fumbling around in the safe, any movement will kick it back on. Plenty bright for this application, very pleased.

They do what they advertised, light is very bright! Great buy

PROS: -Relatively cheap -Easy to install -Bright -Great motion sensor, does not depend on ambient light level to turn on (will turn on even if the room is bright) CONS: -one in particular kept falling off the mount, probably whenever I reached in to grab clothes off the rack-make sure you leave enough room so your hand doesn't bump it -turns off quickly when motion not detected, this could also be a PRO as it saves your batteries, but many times I have stood in front the closet trying to decide what to wear and the light came off -after about 10 months of use, the sensor no longer worked and the light stayed on constantly, even though it was still switched to Auto. Of course this drained the batteries, but when I changed them, it still would not turn on again. One failed first, then the other, then the third, so average about 10 months lifespan for each light. Overall, not bad for the price.

I really appreciate the combination of motion sensor and light sensor - they're only on when they're actually needed. Plus you can rotate the sensor to the relevant direction. I do feel like I changed the batteries an awful lot, more than other similar lights. At least they're super easy to change. I have poorly lit winding stairs. I use these lights close to the stair treads, and feel so much more secure.

I put these lights up in my parents' pantry so they could see better. I liked the idea of the motion detection being triggered whenever they reached for something on a shelf. I also liked the fact that they were battery operated, so when needed the batteries could be changed out instead of relying on being plugged in to recharge - a dicey proposition with two elderly people, one of whom doesn't see well. These lights installed quickly and easily and the motion sensor was easy to adjust. After about six weeks one light quit working completely. I changed out the batteries but it didn't make any difference. I contacted the seller and requested a replacement but have not had any response. These were relatively inexpensive and the concept is good - but ultimately we'll probably end up going the more expensive route and hiring an electrician to wire and install lights. I don't want to have to keep troubleshooting and/or replacing lights - I have enough to do with caring for my parents as it is.

I tried using rechargeable lights for the closet, but find that the batteries on those were of low capacity/quality. Before long, I would end up having to frequently recharge them sooner and sooner. These are the best compromise. I can simply swap out batteries when the brightness gets too dim. The LEDs last and I foresee being able to use these as long as they still make AA batteries. The option to move the orientation of the motion sensor is nice to have and lets me point the light to where I need it (inside the closet), while the motion sensor is pointed outward toward the door opening. I do wish that these came in 2700K color temperature as I prefer it. If it did, these would be perfect for me.

These were installed for an elderly relative who has low vision and needs extra light for darker places in his house. Two were put up under kitchen cabinets and one in his storage freezer that didn't have a light. They are very compact but provide a nice amount of light. They are magnetic so for the one in the freezer, we just stuck it to the inside of the freezer. For the others, we used command strip velcro so we didn't have to stick anything permanently. The auto setting has a motion sensor. They also have a daylight sensor so when set to automatic, the light only comes on when it's dark. I wanted it to come on even when light out because we needed the extra light so I put a piece of black electrical tape over the daylight sensor. Now it comes on whenever there is movement under the counter, even in the day time. Love these little lights!

The first one I used burnet through brand new Duracell batteries in five hours. I replaced batteries and got four hours out of the second set. I replaced the batteries again and within 45 minutes the light dimmed. I tested the batteries and they tested good. Tried new batteries and the light was still dim. I got another light stick out of the box thinking maybe the first one might be defective. That one didn't even light up with brand new batteries. It was dead on arrival! The third one lit up with the replacement batteries. When I buy a set of three, I expect all three to work. One out of three is a rip off. Motion detection on the third one is intermittent and unpredictable. Brightness was good on the first one while it lasted which was two uses one for five hours one for four hours. brightness on the third one is also intermittent and seems to be related to the intermittence of the motion detection. I wouldn't recommend buying this item! The only thing that worked was the magnetic mount was easy to install.
