This is a very good pop filter for the price. The quality of the foam is not quite as good as the first-party Shure filter, however, the fit is better. The Shure filter has just a straight cut into the foam for the mic so there is a gap around the body of the microphone. The YouShares has a shaped cutout inside that fits the SM58 ball more neatly. As far as sound quality, I cannot discern a significant difference between the two. Definitely recommended! Edit: these come in compressed packaging, presumably to save space when shipping. I got mine into proper shape quickly by running warm water over them and then squeezing them dry in paper towels.

These microphone foam covers works well to keep my mini mics saliva and spit free. They are thick and feel solid to hopefully last awhile. The multiple colors is a nice touch. If they were a little smaller they would be perfect for a nice snug cover. But overall, good item at a great price.

They worked fine. Just need to wash with soap and water to get rid of the colors before using them.
