It works
This recieves 5 stars based on the fact this is better than breaking down tires by hand. Otherwise build quality could be a little more robust and the all thread could be longer along with additional spacers to accommodate wheels with a deeper offset. I have a gravely mower that has a 22x12-12 tire. It's got a goofy offset. I had hoped that would not be an issue. But it was. Which is of no fault to this product. I made it work. But 3 or 4 inches would have really been the cats meow. Like I said, it works. If you're dealing with a more standard wheel size I'm sure this wouldn't be an issue. I thought the bead breaker handle length would be an issue but there is plenty of leverage. You do need to keep in mind that this needs to be mounted to something immobile or very sturdy. I used some u bolts to clamp it down to one of the fork arms on my zero turn. There's some videos out there of people using c clamps to clamp it to work benches too. The tool for removing and installing worked just fine, I think a couple added length would make it a little better for the leverage. Now the build quality could be improved. The base and mount are held together with a pin, and it's a very sloppy fit. Quite wobbly. I wasnt expecting something made of 1/4" steel, but it is fairly thin material. And let's be honest, if you're buying this it's because you don't want to pay a shop to do the work and you don't want to brake a tire down and install it the hard way. This is by no means for large car tires. This is for small wheels, mowers, golf carts, atv and such.

12" utility trailer tires / boat tires -- works superb!!! Made my life sooooo easy.
Works great on 12" rims -- utility and boat tires. Once bolted to a secure workbench, made mild work of changing out two rims to brand new 12x4.80 tires. You don't necessarily need to bolt the mounting flange with four bolts, just two on a diagonal across the plate worked well for me. I didn't have any issues there. Worked perfect. This little piece of equipment works exceptionally well. Does the job and doesn't bicker. It will require a little bit of effort, not much...just a little elbow to gut. Spray bottle with some soapy dishwater is your friend, wet those beads down, entire circumference. When installing the new tire, once you have one side inside the rim, push that portion of the tire up into the centermost sector of the rim interior (the Center), then work the opposite side over rim edge. The center of the rim is the smallest diameter so this gives you more rubber on that final section you're trying to get over edge. It works, not too hard, keep rim/bead moist with soapy water spray and just keep tire portion inside rim pushed to center interior. To pop those beads into place, buy you a locking open chuck and insert on about 40' of hose, remove valve stem and lock chuck on stem. Wet your beads down with some of the black tire sealant. Lie tire about 40' from you, stand over at compressor and open wide the valve, hit it with 40-50lbs of air, wait for the two pops. Those beads are seated.

Worth it's weight in gold.
For years I've changed tires by hand. It has never been so easy. Love it!

Overall I like. Threaded rod in center needs upgraded
Works as it should but gave 3 stars because center threaded rod is too soft an small of a diameter for really tough tires. It will bend on you.

Well worth the money.
This is an ideal tool for removing and remounting small tires on mowers. Without this tool it is almost impossible to repair a tire on a mower at home. The only drawback when ordering this is the box that contains the tool set. It is not strong enough. I had to return the first tool ordered as the box was torn and half if the set was missing. The next one sent to me again had the box torn but the contents were intact.

Nicce little mounting/dismounting tool
I needed something small to do my personal mower and cart tires (on the farm there is ALWAYS a flat waiting to happen where least expected) and this little tool is a great addition. I mount it in my mech vise and don't even use the base that it comes with.
