Great starting kit, would be perfect with a few extras
Used this for many T-shirts! Great start at screen printing - only downside is that you need to get the inks & emulsion separately, but otherwise great starting kit!

Not really worth the money - material too thin - very cheap looking
Not really worth the money - material too thin - very cheap looking - do not expect it to last. It is just about ok if you are new to screen printing, but expect it to be a "try and throw away" item and you may not be too disappointed with it.

Buy it
This really saved my son's gcse art project (he had broken his hands) plus is there to use again and again for printing fun at home. My only quibble is the squeegees don't fit all the frames.. but hey ho, we aren't professionals... yet!

Shame it’s not complete not a complete printing set
A special birthday present for me but not a starter set when missing necessary printing inks, photo emulsion, holding pins and clear instructions. A real disappointment

good to use, but this kit does not include photo emulsion, and the clear film does not clear enough. I buy a clear film. This is my first time trying screen print and after several time failed, I finally got what I need. I think with the low price. It does great work.

Legitimately exceeded expectations. Short of ink and vinyl/emulsion, this kit has everything needed to get started and keep going for quite a long time. Plenty of extra parts (spare silk sheets, squeegees & scrapers, even paddlepop sticks!) included. 50+ prints in and still doing a fine job.

Good starter kit, however after the first use, the mesh began to frail at the ends where it is stapled into the wood. I just trimmed it with some scissors. But it holds up pretty good. Eventually I will invest in better boards, likely aluminum because it feels odd to me washing these wood ones with water. But they are built really well for the most part. I just don't know how many times washing them with water will eventually deteriorate them. I'd imagine it would be a long while though. Great color choices of ink and great as far as the cost to just get started. You will likely pay more to buy it all separately. You will need emulsion though if you plan on going that route, but I'm just using it with stencils. The kit didn't come with that. (I thought I would add that in case you were planning on doing your printing that way. - If end up deciding to do that as well, I will have to buy the emulsion as well.) It's a good value though - you get three different size boards, two different size scrapers, some tools, the spatula, gloves, and the ink. Pretty much everything you need to get started (minus the emulsion products). I did eventually have to go get a larger screen though because I wanted to do bigger prints, but overall I do think this is a great started kit for anyone beginning this journey. The large screen in the kit is a pretty decent size, but I wanted to do 12 x 12 up to 14 x 14 for the back of T-shirts, so I bought a bigger screen. Once you figure out what you want to do with screen printing, you can then go get whatever else you might need, like I did. This is not a lost all. I will absolutely use everything that came in this kit. It is a great starter kit while keeping costs at a minimum. I do recommend it if you are just starting out. I was pleasantly surprised and put it to use the very first day. This was my first print.
