Great tool! Makes quick work of bottling. 7 1/2 bottles in about 3 minutes with so much less mess. There was a learning curve. I was swearing up a storm the first time I used it. Followed the directions to a tee but couldn’t get it going. Next 2 x’s as easy as pie. Definitely keep your container of fluid and siphon a decent height above the bottling vessels as shown in my photo. Also recommend a tray under bottles to catch drips that occur while moving from one bottle to another. Cheers!

This product works well and is consistent. When cleaning the item please beware of the small plastic piece at the tip that moves up and down. If this piece dislodges, the unit will not work. It is a major pain to put it back in, but it is doable.

I’ve read a couple of reviews here that said you would need to watch a YouTube video to learn how to use this auto-siphon. When I finally opened up the package for this unit in order to fill a number of bottles with my latest brew, I decided I should dip it in StarSan before reading the instructions. I had the unit in the sanitizer, and was trying to figure out how to disassemble it in order to properly sanitize it, and I accidentally started it. If I had installed the tubing on it, I would have been shooting StarSan all over the floor! Yeah, it’s super easy to use. Like painfully easy. This was only my second batch, and combining this with a bottle filling wand made filling the bottles SO FREAKING MUCH EASIER than without. It was a total breeze. My only concern is that it’s made of plastic. If a bacterial colony or biofilm get started on it, I’m just going to have to throw it out and get a new one. Ignoring that one concern, I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that if you’re just starting as a home brewer, this might actually be more important than a hygrometer. At least as far as making your journey through the process of home brewing easier and more enjoyable. In short: I really feel like this thing made my experience so much less frustrating on this batch. I recommend it thoroughly.

Worked well, seems durable, no complaints. Great for 1 gallon batches.

The whole point of me purchasing this specific listing was to get the brush along with the pump to be able to clean it properly. I was disappointed to see that it was not included.

Essential for racking your wine from one container to another....comes apart for cleaning, easy to use and the included 6ft hose is a perfect length for the job.
