I have tried several scales similar to this but volume is to low. It takes forever to say your weight. This scale is awesome larger that most. Loud voice with weight and does it fast

I love this scale how it reads your weight the only thing it is heavy when you put back in the box when you are not using it .

I purchased this for a birthday present so it was not opened and used right away. I purchased one earlier this year and love it. It works great. The one I just bought and gave as a gift does not work! It would not right from the beginning. The fact that it was not opened and used made the window close for the return. I am upset that especially during the holidays that if you purchased something earlier it cannot be returned. I hate to give it a bad rating as I love mine but am unhappy i can’t return for a working one

I have owned several load cell scales. The Taylor is a good scale but is alittle creaky when stepping on it. The idea works is more solid and a little wider. Both are 550 lb capacity scales. The best scale is the Siltec glass with large load cells and a blue light large lcd readout, but only goes to 440lbs. Now here is the rundown! The Taylor projection 550lb scale reads better on an uneven surface than the Ideaworks extrawide scale. The Ideaworks has smaller load cell feet but a more solid platform. The Siltec has the best load cells and only 440lb capacity, I got the idea works because the Taylor jumps around a little. The ideaworks flutuated 40 lbs in the same area as the taylor flucuated about 5-8lbs. I then took the Ideaworks onto my concrete garage floor and it was spot on three times in a row. The same for the Taylor projection scale. Both were on a Linoleum floor bathroom that was level. Forget about a thin rug. The taylor was better on linoleum. Thats because the Taylor has wider load cell contact feet. The Siltec was excellent even on a rug because of wide contact feet. So if you want to get a good reading get a piece of plywood for a base. Then you will get consistent scale readings. The Ideaworks is the best bang for the buck. It is the touchiest though. The perfect base would be a granite surface plate but a little costly.

I am very overweight and just starting a new doctor approved diet and excercise program and needed a scale that had the capacity to accurately measure my weight. This scale is perfect. It is very accurate as compared to the professional scale at my doctor's office. I am very wide and very tall, and this scale's width is more than adequate for me to stand on and be weighed easily. Even with me moving around just a little, it's very easy for the scale to get a lock on my weight after a few moments and speak it out loud. Which is good, because at the moment, my stomach is too big to see past. And plus, it's very fashionable. Goes just fine in our bathroom decor, and will match just about any other. I highly recommend it. Takes 1 9-volt battery that's not included. And one more thing, even though I don't use it, and probably won't.... But it has memory features to track your weight loss for up to 2 people. A++

I first purchased a talking scale in 2013, and I loved it above all the items that I purchased from Amazon, and when I moved to my first apartment in April 2022, it was the first item that I moved. When I moved to my current apartment in July 2022, it was also the first item I moved. Because of the scale, my weight had dropped from three hundred and ninety eight pounds to two hundred and sixty five pounds Unfortunately, soon after moving, it stopped talking, and hasn’t spoken since. I ordered the second one a few weeks ago and I received it a few days ago. It DOES NOT WORK! Sadly, a friend’s grand children, while playing with the box, threw it away. The only proof I have of his purchase is the actual scale and Amazon‘s record that I ordered it and that it was delivered. I will not pursue a refund because I don’t have the package. But Mark my words it does not work and if anyone asks my opinion I will tell them put a battery in it and see if you can start it up. If you can’t get it to start up then I would say it is a very poor purchase my first one started up instantly when I put a battery in it this one did not end after a week or so it still does not work. So beware if you think this is a good idea for a place called idea works their ideas do not work.

This is a reorder for me because my son broke my first talking scale, so I bought it again. This is a great scale. Just stand on it and it will tell you your weight.

Dissapointed they do not do imperial measure.
