Is the ingredient in this product (N-acetyl-L-carnosine, has a "L" in the name ) the same as what CAN-C eye drops uses (N-acetylcarnosine)? Thank you!

L-carnosine, which is stabilized from enzymatic hydrolysis, operates as a universal aldehyde and ROS scavenger in both aqueous and lipid environments and is effective at preventing ROS-induced damage to biomolecules. l am 78 and have a cataract in my right eye does this stuff really work

I am 80 years old and have cataracts in both eyes. They were progressing before I took NAC drops and they have stabilized since I have been taking them. My ophthalmologist says the drops do not cure. I said they work for dogs. She said human eyes are different from dogs. However, before they were advancing and I was not using NAC drops. Now I am using the drops and they have stopped advancing. What other explanation is there?

Hello:Thank you for your question. You would do the following:1. Unscrew the white cap on the vial.2. Take off the white collar on the vial.3. Screw the white cap back on the bottle tight.4. Inside the upper part of the cap is a pointed piece of plastic that will puncture a hole in the vile.5. Put the collar back on.6. Now you can use the vial to put the drops in your eyes.Have a nice day.
