I've installed several dozen ceiling fans through the years and they can be a bit challenging to hang. This fan went up relatively easy, as all the parts are lighter- lighter gage metal and a smaller motor. But it has that classic Hunter fan look from days gone by, which I prefer. I prefer to use Hunter fans as they have been ultra-reliable in my experience. The motor on this one is very quiet in operation and the blades are well balanced, meaning no wobble or vibration was present. The included light kit performs as expected, and the included LED bulbs promise a long long service life. That's not been my experience, but they should outlast incandescent lamps. It would be nice if the remote was included but of course it's not. I will make do with the pull chains. I still have several rooms to do on my current project. I will probably use this specific model of Hunter fan because it seems to be the best combination of price, appearance, and performance.

Great fan for the money. Looks good, easy to install, 3-fan peeds and separate lighting and very quiet. I liked it so much I bought another one for a different room.

Another great hunter fan. Replaced a noisy ceiling fan. Extremely easy to install & assemble. Works great very quiet.

I'm very pleased with my new bedroom fan. I was looking to buy a Hunter fan and Amazon had a great selection of them. It is a five blade fan and has reversible direction for summer/winter best operation. It is powerful with three speeds that are easily changed with the pull cord. The three lights are very bright just like I wanted. It is also very quiet while running and doesn't disturb me at any time of the day. In Phoenix even with A/C it still gets hot in my room so I definitely needed help with the heat. This fan does the trick, it has improved my living conditions and I'm very happy that I purchased it. I would recommend it very much.

The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because slow speed is really very slow. Medium and high are good, though. Very quiet, even on fast.

Product was well packaged, all parts were there, simple assembly and I have a beautiful ceiling fan that is silent and wobble free. I bought this fan to replace one that I purchased less than a year ago that was supposed to be quite, well the sound it made sent me searching for a better fan so always having good luck with Hunter I thought I would try them again. So glad I did. Just to give you an idea of the differences between the two makers, just to see I weighed the blades on the hunter fan before I installed it they were all the exact same weight the fan I took down the blades were 2 at 280 grams 1 at 282 grams and 1 at 283 grams. Better than that I ran it with no blades before I took it down and it still wobbled. Sometimes it's just better to stick with what has always worked. Thank you Humter
