Strong, well made and perfect for my needs
Exactly what I needed for my small goldfish pond. I use it to capture a large garden snake that lives in the rock structure that the pump water flows over into the pond. When I catch the snake I take it into the national forest about a mile away from my home.Extremely well constructed and has a strong telescoping pole.

Good quality
Good quality. I wish I had paid more attention to how far it extends. I could use one a bit longer. But the netting is very good quality and the pole is nice and solid.

This works very well for smaller pond skimming
This works well for smaller ponds the only issue where I live is sometimes the pine needles will escape through the mesh nothing another pass will not remedy. It is well made and can hold quite bit of weight in leaves and other debris.

Very sturdy
Nice! Seems to be a good quality and is all in one piece. The hoop holding the net is strong and metal. Much nicer than the previous net I bought! If you are looking for a small pond net, here it is! Box in was shipped in was entirely too big! (Wasteful)

Best net yet
I have a small backyard lily pond that uses a steady trickle as water supply but no filter or pump. It acts like a natural pond rather than the controlled environment typical of suburban yard ponds, Consequently it grows algae in the springtime. I don't like algicides for environmental reasons, among them the fact that in the past algicide has poisoned the minnow-size "mosquito fish" which eat larvae. My solution is to fish out the algae blooms with a net and this works like a charm until sunshine is strong enough to keep it subdued. My old net was apparently made of natural fiber (probably cotton), so it rotted and developed holes and separated from the metal ring. This net is apparently made of synthetic fiber which shows no signs of damage or deterioration after a season of use. In fact the stringy algae doesn't stick to it at all and is easy to just shake off. Furthermore the metal ring is sturdier and the lightweight aluminum handle is extendable, saving me steps. I usually don't write reviews but this product is outstanding and a bargain for the price.

Great net for ponds
I usually need to replace my pond nets every couple of years, but this one seems to be very sturdy and will hopefully last longer than previous ones. It does a great job removing leave and algae from my pond.
