Solid, yes I would not hesitate purchasing again if the need arises. Some complain of the length of the hardware, sure it’s long but it was all there, worked as expected, and allowed me to trim to the length I preferred.

As everyone else says, bolts are too long!Otherwise product works great. I used a drill press due to other reviews, and do recommend using it.This kit simplifies the construction. I made sure all cuts were of the same length making the assembly square.When frame was completed, I turned it over on top of the top, placed it where i wanted it, glued, then finished with pocket screwsI used a butcher block slab from Lowes for the top, very heavy and sturdy, it came in the dimensions without cutting, no extra support needed. Although I did put an additional 2x4 across the middle of the top with more pocket screwsWill probably seal the top with polyurethane or tung oil.Very satisfied with the results being a beginner in woodworking!

Overall excellent quality brackets and hardware. I took my time, and carefully drilled all of the holes with a drill press, and the result was a sturdy solid bench. Two improvements I would like to see: 1) Bolts should be 1/2 - 3/4 inch shorter, 2) Lock washers should be included to prevent bolts getting loose over time. Deducting 1 star because of the bolts being too long.

Makes for very sturdy work bench. Bit of advice, not all the brackets wholes are exactly the same so when you drill the wholes for the bolts use and mark that same bracket with the piece of wood it'll attach to during assembly.
