Smaller than the gap between most tandems but good overall tool if you are looking for a single multi-tasker.
Although its a bit bigger than I had hoped its exactly what I expected. This is a single mutli-tasker that replaces several other blocks and chocks at but at the expense of not being the best overall tool for any one job. Should come in handy on the road and takes the place of a 2 stackable wheel chocks DEDC Heavy Duty Wheel Chocks for Caravan Car Wheel Stoppers Tire Stops PAIR Set of 2 with Rope and a piece of wood blocking and dock chock Reese Towpower 7000300 Dock Chock screwed to it from my arsenal and makes it 1 thing I have to store that is relatively light weight and not to hard to store. It seems more sturdy than the stacking wheel chocks (which crush if you roll into them) and more reliable than the wood block I use for under the tongue jack which have a tendency to split after a while when you have a plastic cup screwed to it. I wouldn't use this as my only wheel chock on a steep hill with a heavy trailer, but it makes a good multi-purpose lightweight secondary block. I use one of the heavy rubber single sided chocks YM W4194 Solid Rubber Wheel Chock with Handle, 8-3/4" Length, 4" Width, 6" Height - Pack of 2 for primary roll stopping duty as they don't slide as easy as plastic on a smooth hard (wet) surface. If you are looking for something that will stop a tandem axle from rolling at all this probably will work once or twice but its narrower than the gap between many standard axle and tire setups so the trailer will have some momentum going when it hits the other side. There are better options for that type of work, this is a good safety just in case though. Glad to have it.

Waste of money
Used it one time on a 10 foot open trailer, it was on concrete, the block held for about 5 minutes then I heard a pop and the trailer started moving. The block cracked and it began to move, the little feet on the bottom did not provide any traction. It had weight on it and would not hold traction so I am glad I didn’t chock a tire with it,, my trailer would be gone!!!

Good for what it is.
This is a lightweight chock made to go between the wheels of a tandem axle trailer. It has worked well for me, but I'm not sure I would trust this little thing to hold a super heavy loaded trailer on a hill. But, for keeping my empty open car trailer from rolling down the incline of my yard where it's stored, it has performed well and weathers reasonably.

good chock
It does what it's supposed to do. I'm using it for my boat. And I don't want to type anymore words!

Way too small to be of much use around dual axle trailers.
The actual block is much smaller than the dimensions stated in the product description. I assume the dimensions are of the box it ships in. . The block itself is 17 in. long at its base, and is 6-1/4 in. wide and 4 in. high. The foot plate rest at the top is 3-3/4 x 4 in. The hole at the center is actually tapered rather than straight. It measures 1-3/4 in. diameter at the top, and 1 in. at its bottom. It is 3-1/2 in. deep. I had planned on placing the block between the wheels on my dual axle trailers: one a horse trailer and the other an equipment trailer. But the tire spacing on both is about 26 in. measured between front and rear tire contacts with the ground. The block is just way too small to chock both wheels at once. As a tongue support, the block is just too low at 4 in. to make much difference in jacking. The hole for the jack is too small to hold a standard 2 in. diameter dual axle trailer jack.

Works great
I had one for 7 years and just now had to replace it, only because someone ran over the other one.

Not heavy duty enough
I bought this for my living quarters horse trailer. We needed something lighter to take on the road with us, but this is just a little too light weight for my liking. It's also a little bit too narrow when placed between the tires of our 2 axle trailer. Might be a good idea for a bumper pull camper, but just not enough for this application IMO.
