Very useful to installing cabinet handles. This product is well made, and once you figure out how to use it (not complicated) it works well and simplifies the work. Well built product. Good price for the unit, and very good concept. Allows for consistent and accurate handle placements.

The King&Charles Cabinet Hardware Jig turned out to be a huge time saver for my kitchen project. At first, it takes a little practice to get the hang of aligning everything, but once you do, it makes drilling perfectly placed, repeatable holes fast and simple. The jig is made of durable aluminum, which feels much sturdier than cheaper plastic options I’ve seen. It holds up well even when drilling through multiple cabinets and doesn’t flex or wear down. I used it across my whole kitchen, and every hole lined up evenly, giving my hardware a clean and professional look. If you’re tackling a full kitchen or even just a few cabinets, this tool is worth having. For the DIYer, this is a great jig for precisely locating your cabinet hardware with consistency. There are other more expensive versions out there, but they cost a lot more. This one worked as expected. It’s simple to set up. From the time I opened the box, it took less than 10 minutes to set it up for my first project. Probably would have been half that time if I had actually bothered to read the instructions. Once the jig is set up, marking the holes with the supplied spring-loaded punch is quick. You do need to take a little care with the punch as you can get it at an angle in the guide hole if you’re not careful. I like the method of only using the jig to locate the holes for the punch. The other versions out there show you drilling through the jig bushing. Trying to hold the jig, the cabinet door/drawer and the drill would be tricky. I pre-drilled the 11/64” holes with a 3/32” bit to ensure it stayed aligned with the punch marks. My first project was complete in less than 30 minutes from opening the box. I would definitely recommend this for the DIYer. The jig may not hold up long for the professional installer doing hundreds of pulls each year. I dinged this product 1 star because of the instructions. The product is made in China and the instructions are translated from Chinese (assumption). I see this all the time. The translators, probably software, do a poor job with the English language. The front cover of the instruction pamphlet is titled “Handle Cabinet Haroware Jig”. The next line says “Metric and Imoerial Double Scale”. Then key features are listed that include “Porous Measurement” and “Protable”. The back of the pamphlet says “How to Intall”. There are multiple grammar errors within the instructions as well. These are easily corrected if reviewed by someone that has English as the first language.

This tool has been an excellent choice for me. It’s easy to use, assemble, precise and well made. I purchased the aluminum version.

This worked great. It made measuring the holes for our cabinet hardwood so much easier and kept the spacing consistent.

Used it for the first time on a customer that wanted 40 pulls installed in their kitchen. Just being able to set it once for doing every door made the job easy. A bit of adjustment is needed if there are various drawer heights and widths, but still worth it. Just make sure you can screw in the pull/handle thru the jig holes to make sure they line up perfectly.

This is a solid tool that unfortunately has a fatal flaw. This is a huge improvement over the plastic fixed hole jigs I’ve used before. Additionally, having the punch is a great improvement over most kits. The issue is that there is a small lip on the piece you use to catch the side of the cabinet or drawer for consistent centering. You have to either make sure you are on it for each, or off of it. It do cause an uncentered pull on one of my cabinets, but thankfully I was able to correct it. Maybe an all metal as opposed to mixed metal and plastic model would have worked better.
