Great big box expansion for Imperial Assault. This one comes with a new full length campaign that has a total of 16 new missions to play (though you still need the core set to play). It also has the option for a 4 player skirmish on one very large map with 2 different playing modes, a free-for-all or team battle. There is a lot of new content with all the new missions, heroes, class decks, 37 new map tiles, etc. I am very excited to play this campaign through since it is a whole new stand-alone story line that isn't just integrated into the base set campaign. The only negative I have about the set is the cannons on the tank were very bent when I opened the box, and the medic droid hero also came bent. This is easily fixable by just dipping the pieces in hot water, bending them into place, and then dipping them in cool water to keep them in position. It is not hard to do but is just kind of annoying since you have to do it 2-3 times to get it right sometimes. So overall I would recommend this to anyone who has played or is playing the core set campaign and loved it. It adds a ton to the campaign game, and even adds quite a bit to the skirmish game too if you play that.

A fabulous Star Wars game that you can play with your kids. You can play against each other in skirmish mode or even better, team up to race through missions against the empire. I love that my teenaged son and I can play together and not argue against each other. Perfect for any Star Wars fan!

This game adds quite a bit to the Imperial Assault formula. 1) Four player skirmishes. There are only two scenarios, but it's a great start. 2) More vehicle-based cards. Quite a bit of content to accommodate just two vehicles so far (AT-ST and SC2-M, aka the hovercraft). 3) The first droid and party healer, as the same character. 4) The Bounty Hunter/Independent forces are getting more viable for skirmish play with each release. 5) HK droids are awesome. This is also the first big box expansion and I think they hit it out of the park. Twin Shadows, the Tatooine-inspired smaller expansion released earlier makes for a great introduction to the game, but Hoth is a fully fledged expansion and feels like I've doubled the content of the base box.

Definitely a great expansion, adds a ton of new maps with the new Hoth environment and a really cool full campaign. The new heros and enemies look like a ton of fun to use. You will need to get about 4 ally/Villian packs in order to replace the tokens in this expansion. I definitely recommend the echo trooper and Dengar packs.

Almost through one game. It's been a nice change to the normal story line. Added a nice balance to the game as well, on both sides.

Great expansion, it gives a whole new campaign experience for Imperial Assault. A must buy if you love Campaign mode in Imperial Assault.

Las nuevas baldosas del planeta hot hacen que el juego tenga una continuidad con la trilogía original (no puedo esperar más para jugar la expansión de Bespin), y los mapas son más variados para el modo de juego Escaramuza (Skirmish). Love the game, didn't have time to play the campaing yet but the map are cool in skirmish.

Amazing addition. Came incredibly fast, and you get an entirely new campaign and campaign log to play. New characters are fun, and miniatures are totally sweet. Can't recommend this one enough.
