Good quality and it is ready to install out of the box. Bought it for my Helix 7 and the holes matched perfectly. I Was a little disappointed though that it did not come with the bolts etc to attach to the fish finder mount. Otherwise very satisfied.

I bought this mount for my Huminnbird Helix 5. Maybe a bit oversized because I needed to drill four extra holes but I am very pleased with it. Plastic was very tough for drilling.So,no doubt about quality. I gave 5 stars to this mount although I had some work on it. I also added one small washer between upper ball(sphere) and platform for fishfinder, because it was a bit stacking against the mount body when bending and turning around. Washer solved a problem. Lower sphere is moving around fine,with no stacking. Before purchasing I was doubting to buy because in some reviews been noted about looseness ,but it is not case with one I got. Just a opposite, this stand is obviously built for much bigger and heavier fishfinders. After I tighten it strongly I cant bend it with two hands.No way to bend it. I would buy this mount again and will recommend it.
