Great locking straps. They feel very secure, key is easy to use. They are a little shorter than I was hoping for. They can't fully go around my kayaks but I can still use them to lock the kayaks to the rack

These work quite well. They're sturdy and relatively easy to use. Two usability comments: 1. The ends are hard to get through the opening. You push down on a release inside the lock mechanism and feed the strap through. But, the end of the strap looks to be melted to prevent fraying and this makes it hard to insert it. Once you do, they're easy to cinch down. 2. The lock/cap is a little tough to close. Overall, these do what I needed them to do. NOTE: These are NOT ratcheting tie-downs! If you need to make sure your load is secure, you'll need to combine these locking straps with ratcheting tie-downs (which is what I did).

The rig is put together well, and good materials.

These are excellent lockable straps for those situations when you need a “reasonable” amount of security. The strap length was great and the Velcro works well both for storage and for the extra strap length that isn’t needed depending on your situation. I have only used these once as of the writing of this review, so durability has yet to be determined ( but, they do appear to be constructed well for the price point).

Like the locking concept but thats about it. Not good that they only have one cut to the key type so the key you get can unlock anybody else's cable like yours from the same place. Also the wires inside the cable poke you constantly while trying to slide the cable around. Last, the cable is hard to work with. Hard to thread through the clamp and then you have to hold the clamp open with one hand while trying to pull the cable through with the other hand and you dont have any leverage to make the cable tighten down. Its doesnt work well as a cargo tie down. I found it works best as just a lock down wrap to go around my cargo after ive already strapped everything down with cargo straps. Then I just wrap these locking cable around everything to use as an added security deterrent to thieves.

I'm happy with these. People mention they'd be pretty easy to cut with scissors. Which, I do think is true. I also think the likelihood of someone carrying around scissors is not very high. I think the lock on it would deter pretty much anybody. I've used it to strap my Jerry can for a few months now and nobody has messed with it. Although it is worth mentioning like someone else said it is a cinch, not a ratchet strap. Don't use it as a tie down, pair it with a ratchet strap

Mine came without directions and only one set of keys. I like to have an extra set of keys in case one gets lost and the locks were supposed to come with two sets of keys (and directions) but did not. People on Amazon were kind enough to explain how to use them, so I was able to figure them out. Will try a lock place to see if I can get key copies made. For the cost of these locks, they should have come with two sets of keys and directions as advertised. I am ordering another set, however, because I do like the way they secure things on my cargo carrier.

Works for the price, buckle is cheap.

Fantastic items...they work really well...
